What a nice view! Waiter brought tasty desert as gift at first and it was tasty. Prices were reasonable with great architecture. The view is even better. Worth to take a break before starting to castle travel. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

day was hot and sunny, we were hiking up the hill when fort cafe appeared with nice and cozy place to sit and chill - recommended as simple orange juice is lifesaver here, coffee will give you another boost and toasts can kill your first hunger - most important is that view, lake ohrid from the top is one of a kind ! The view from the cafe is amazing! The place is open upto 10.00 pm at night. The service was good at the evening, the place has a large collection of vintage family owned things, which is incredible. Nice little bar/ cafe with amazing views of the city and the lake; eclectic and chic decor (very cool!); very hospitable staff; good drinks, sandwiches and desserts. The owners have owned this place for a long time and clearly are very proud of it as well as the staff. It is a nice place to come with a friend, book or a laptop to chat/ relax/ read/study/ work. The cafe is located right next to the fortress so convenient to combine both visits. This is not a dinner place as it doesn’t offer full dinner dishes a The cafe accepts credit cards for payment. Nice and chic place with the best views of Ohrid and the lake. It is located just below the fortress, and it is in walking distance from every popular spot.
