I love trying new places to eat. Definitely a good place to try if you're passing through. The French toast is made fresh in house and is to die for. It just melts in your mouth. They have a good size menu, so with help from everyone on the staff I got the French toast and the Mediterranean skillet. The Mediterranean skillet has a great combination of ingredients, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sundried tomatoes. I love the coffee bar, decor, and friendly staff. Always love going there. Yes there is a wait but so worth it. I have a food allergy and they go above and beyond to make sure I still get delicious food without having to worry. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Ok, I was hungry and couldn’t take the pic of my Chicken Fried Steak BEFORE I tore into it! Tracy was our server and described the CFS when asked as a hand battered and dipped delight! She had me at hand battered! My wife and I go to Fork & Spoon fairly often but have never tried the CFS. I had the breakfast plate which was CFS, potatoes, two eggs and a biscuit. I added two strips of bacon as well. Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs Plate 9/10 - the CFS was VERY good!! It was a thicker cut of tenderized meat (which I like) that was really hand breaded. The flavor of the meat and crust was excellent. Fairly tender and not over crusted. I’m a CFS snob and this was one of the best ones I’ve ever had! The eggs were ordered over medium and they were spot on. Potatoes were tasty. The biscuit came out fluffy and hot. Bacon is always good there! Service 8/10 - Tracy always takes care of us when we are in her section. Always friendly, attentive and smiling. To be fair, everyone that has ever waited on us there is the same way. Atmosphere 8/10 - we love sitting by the fireplace in the cooler months. Very cozy. If not by the fire, the booths are comfortable. It’s got a charm to it that seems inviting. Overall 8/10 - we definitely recommend Fork and Spoon as a must try restaurant in New Braunfels!! You won’t be disappointed with their extensive menu options. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Great service, cute place, and delicious food! We had breakfast and the menu for the rest of the food looked yummy too. Definitely will bring the whole family back here! Officially saved as a favorite on my maps! Hubby had Meat Lovers Skillet(slightly modified) and I had Eggs Benedict...and it came out quick! We were told the wait time was 20-25 minutes for 2 (they were busy). As we gave our name to the hostess, I noticed an empty booth they were not seating anyone at, so I assumed it was a staff table (first booth by the hostesses stand). So we waited. After our 20-minute wait, our name was called, and we were seated at the empty table by the hostess stand... Other than that, the food was great. I had the Ranch hand plate, and my friend had Eggs Benedict. Both were great. Service was decent considering how busy it was. First time here, the place was bigger than expected. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and the food was a hit. I had chicken and pancakes and my husband had chicken fried chicken. I would come back. Good breakfast food. Kid friendly. We had Philly full size (6 out of 10) wouldn't get again. Fork and Spoon plate & the pancakes were delicious! French Toast has a cinnamon butter type taste & was really good. Chicken fried chicken was good I just added salt. We also got the Mimosa bucket (bottle of champagne & your choice of ok or cranberry juice) $21 good value. Will definitely go again.. Walking in the door, you can't help but relax for a wonderful meal. The Fork & Spoon is just farm-house-y and rustic enough to relax, but it is not overpowering....perfect. When it comes to food - 10 for 10. We tried the Julienne Eggs Benedict and the Brisket Stuffed Omlette, and both were EGGSELENT!! The brisket in the omolette was the outer bark of the brisket (or cooked to be bark - just as good!), and it was phenomenal!! With cheese baked into it, it was like a low-carb brisket quesadilla. Fan-dam-tastic! The Eggs Bennie was one of the best ever....requested extra hollandaise sauce and boy did the kitchen deliver! Now, a note on the unsung hero of most meals - the bread. We ordered sourdough toast with the brisket omlette and I dunno where it's baked, but I will find out. Awesome sourdough toast! The English muffin with the Eggs Benedict was toasted dark. A bit too dark in spots, honestly. But that dark toasting imparted an AMAZING flavor! Beyond the meal, the service was exceptional....quik to have our coffee and water, one of the friendliest waitresses I've encountered recently, and just....good. 5 out of 5 stars. Put the Fork and Spoon on your list!! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As I’m German I wanted to try one of the German restaurants in New Braunfels, TX We had lunch at the Fork and Spoon today, it was delicious, authentic German food like my Mother used to make. We had the “Tour of Germany” meal for two with red cabbage and speatzle for sides. It could have easily served three as you can see in the photos. We have a take out box with plenty of leftovers. We would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try if you enjoy German food. The service was excellent and our waitress was very personable and super efficient! If we come back to town we’ll definitely eat here again! Sorry the photos aren’t better! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
