Love love love this place! I finally don’t have to drive all the way to Houston to get vegan desserts! I got the vegan valentine’s chocolate box and everything was AMAZING! They have so many vegan options, from cakes to cinnamon rolls to cookies and more! Will be coming here more often❤️ Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
AMAZING!!! I have been to this bakery several times and have never been disappointed. Everything I’ve ever had from here was absolutely delicious. When you walk in you’re instantly greeted, everyone here has been extremely helpful and so nice! OMG! This cake was simply amazing. I have always made my kids cakes and being away from our home state of TN while I help my MIL fox her house. The lovely couple at Food of Life were so sweet about helping us! I was asked colors and flavors (of which I consilted my soon to be 9yo) and she asked what theme and he love PvZ and Minecraft. I was blown away by the attention to detail and the over the top decorations! Hank you so much! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
WOW! When we walked in the door, we knew we found an amazing spot! I’ve never seen a GF bakery with goodies like this before! We got cookies, donuts, and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were fluffy and delicious! The owner was friendly and helpful. We love supporting local, woman owned businesses as well. We will be back!
Good selection of Vegan items. Also, everything is gluten-free. I drive all the way from Galveson for these baked goods. Also, very clean bakery and staff is friendly.

We decided to order an angel food cake for my wife's birthday. Food of life did not disappoint. The cake was moist and delicious. I will try the the cookies next time I stop by.

I've visited League City couple times before and store happened to be closed. Finally!!!Got to try it. Went a little crazy buying and trying a little of most of the items. I found the cookies were all good but the bread and roll products were outstanding. I often find GF dry and crumbly. These were absolutely not. They had a cinnamon roll that was to me the best I've ever had. Would've been just as good without icing. The savory loaf bread was amazing. I believe it was a honey oat. Great texture and taste. Prices very reasonable compared to any other places I've shopped. Thanks to the proprietors for this hidden treasure. Well worth the stop if you're in League City or passing through. I will definitely plan to stop again when next near there.

Thank you so much for making your Apple Fritters!!! I havent had one in years and they are my absolute favorite. After my first bite, I instantly regretted only getting one. Also the Peanut Butter cookie, *chef kiss. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Everything is really good, but one of the main employees wears a tank top almost every day, which is absolutely against health code for kitchen workers. He told me he had not gotten the Covid vaccine for no good reason, so the exposed armpits are especially worrying. Also, no one here wears a mask, even employees who are breathing in things like flour all day. I don't really feel safe here as a immunocompromised customer. If your customers are people with food allergies, then your customers are, by definition, immunocompromised, yet you're taking no precautions to avoid the continuation of a pandemic that is still destroying immunocompromised lives after almost 4 years. As always, the most privileged in the disability/chronic illness community are oblivious to the serious harm they perpetuate against less privileged people in the community.

This is truly my happy place. I have recently rediscovered her hand pies and couldn't be happier. The pastry was so tender and the filing was flavorful. I stopped there on a Friday to get some cookies and had to try a meatball. Well, low and behold I was in League city again on Saturday which lead me to get 2 more meatball and 2 curry. If you are a fan of sugar cookies, I can't say enough about them. The frosting is the right amount of sweetness and the cookie again is tender. The thumbprint cookies are another favorite. Also the scones, the cinnamon roll (Oh my gosh the cinnamon roll), the vegan twix...seriously JUST GO!!
