We dined here tonight for the first time and were pleasantly surprised! Wonderful ambiance, a relief from the busy crowds at the other restaurants nearby. The menu was varied with vegetarian, seafood, even duck l'orange. Prices typical for fine dining. The staff was courteous and friendly. All in all, it was a great experience. I had the special, turkey pot pie, and my husband had the vegetarian cauliflower steak with an herbed cheese sauce. It was outstanding! We'll be back. Great place for food, and atmosphere. I had a wonderful time meeting my Highschool friend there. It is the perfect place to meet, eat and talk. Service was very good. I made a Valentine's Day reservation and was looking forward to a wonderful and first dining experience at this restaurant. Regrettably, it turned out to be the worst dining experience I've ever had for a restaurant of this caliber. The appetizer had burnt walnuts, the rack of lamb was extremely thin, overcooked and had to be returned twice. The order was then changed to a filet mignon and it came out bloody red twice. The manager was gracious enough to comp everything but it was a total disaster, I'll never dine there again. Very disappointed with my most recent experience at Flynn's on Venice Ave. The server was very pleasant and attentive in taking our orders. Then we waited about an hour for our meals to come. When they arrived, the food was bland and room temperature at best. If it had been busy I might have understood but there were many empty tables.
