Saturdays are free, what a great opportunity to take the kiddos.
Went to a ceramic class with my Art Therapy group for the first time. I really enjoyed the experience 🥰

This was a lovely surprise. A treasure for Flint! We watched a glass blowing demonstration that was not only fascinating, but the orator was an entertaining, well-spoken, and knowledgable presenter!
It was very big with a lot of variety! It was clean and everyone was very nice. The side information was informative about the pieces. We had a wonderful time and recommend others check it out!

We went the Black Films Gala. They put on a Dinner Theater, complete with all the fixings. The movie was about the First Real Barbie n how it came to be. Communities First Hosted the Event. Best part it was free.

Prior to visiting the FIA I didn't know that much about it. I was blown away by how nice it is. This museum is definitely worth a visit. I would say you'd need at least a few hours to see the bulk of it. But you would probably need multiple visits to see it all.

This is a well done museum. There is more to see than we had time for in one visit. Parking was easy.

Impressive collections of traditional and modern art. I especially enjoyed the wing dedicated entirely to glass sculpture.
