Flapjax Diner is a perfect place for breakfast, lunch, and especially brunch. When at Flapjax Diner, you must try their fluffy, delicious pancakes, from original pancakes, to Oreo pancakes dressed with white chocolate sauce, they are all delicious! My meal was the chocolate chip pancakes, which I finished in seconds, and fresh potatoes surrounded by peppers giving it a nice kick. Flapjax Diner is a perfect and I mean perfect place to start out your day in Santa Monica, you must come here.

Wow. Amazing food. It was great. Definitely need a reservation and if you come during peak hours expect to wait for your server but worth it. The staff made two errors too but it was busy. Food makes up for it.

The best breakfast place I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to A LOT. This place beats Brus wiffle and Huckleberry! Great price and great staff! The best food I’ve ever had, food came out fast and fresh!

Just your average brunch place serving a variety of items. I opted for the flapjacks breakfast plate which comes with scrambled eggs, potatoes, roasted green bell peppers, kielbasa, bacon, and an oversized pancake. The the scrambled eggs arrived a little too cold for my liking, and they had brought me pork bacon when I specifically instructed them that I cannot have any pork products, which is why I opted for the turkey bacon. I ordered a side of sourdough bread, which was really good. The pancake was good and feeling. Beyond that nothing extraordinary. Great service though.

What a fabulous place flapjax is! Maggie was our wonderful server for brunch today, she is so sweet! We had an amazing huge brunch, everything was very tasty and fresh. The potato pancake could have been a little crispier on the eggs Benedict dish. The patatas brava was spot on. The berry pancakes with frozen whipped cream was a nice dessert. Overall very satisfying experience and will be back. Ask for Maggie 😀

Joins Blue Daisy as one of Santa Monica’s best breakfast places. Nice breakfast and brunch options prepared with real skill and quality ingredients. Big pancakes that are well made.
Some outdoor dining for couples out front and a patio out back for a few groups. Can get noisy inside when busy (lots of hard surfaces to bounce noise around).
Street parking (meters) with a few spots out back (the lightbulb store is closed on Sundays). Restroom. Accessible.

Came randomly for brunch since we were in town - wow! So glad we did! Not only was the service impeccable, but the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! The berry pancakes were OUT of this world - so huge and so tasty. My mom got the breakfast burrito which I had a bite of - holy cow. The melted cheese on top was chefs kiss. We got a Spanish latte as well - soooo good. This place really made a great first impression on me, I’m glad we found it randomly. Please come here, you won’t regret it! Delicious delicious!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The prices were also very reasonable, which made it even better. I was also thrilled to learn that the restaurant is women-owned. Highly recommend!
Fun menu with creative takes on regular dishes. There is something for everyone and it the menu is not boring. Some things came out more warm than hot but overall, I would come back.

A MUST TRY!! We ordered the flapjax’s breakfast plate with the berry pancake and the Mexican omelet. The berry pancake 🥞 is insanely good! Definitely worth the up charge/price. Both of our meals were very good. 100% recommend!
