Great little place right off the main road in Gray Maine. We stopped there for lunch and I had the fried haddock and calamari plate with onion rings, pickles, and tartar sauce, as well as a local beer. My friend had the fried clams with onion rings. Service was quick and we very much enjoyed our food. There’s also a place in the same building and ran by the same people where you can buy fresh seafood, lobsters steamed or live, lobster meat, haddock, and several other locally sourced fish. We plan to be back in the very near future either to dine in or for takeout.

Probably one of the best spots to go to for a lobster roll and fries. We weren’t planning on visiting but we decided to stop in before we went to the wildlife refuge nearby. We were happy we did! Visited twice during our trip to Maine. Highly recommend.
During a drive from Boston to Arcadia, my group was hankering for fresh seafood from a no thrills restaurant. Fishermen's Net was the PERFECT choice! The restaurant looks more like a community center than a restaurant, and I knew immediately this was going to be an authentic experience. The patrons are all locals. This is not a tourist trap. This is just a simple restaurant to get great and local seafood at a very reasonable cost. I would highly make a visit to this place if you're looking for seafood in a casual setting. Note: they also have an entire section dedicated to takeout, and although I didn't purchase anything, everything looked great!

Best place for seafood in the greater Portland area! Exceptional food with big portions at very very reasonable prices. In addition to the dining menu they also have a great fish market as well as a good beverage selection with a variety of beer and wine. Service is always impeccable and the owners are incredibly friendly.I can’t recommend this place enough!

Clam Chowder
Stopped for lunch on Friday. Ordered the Haddock dinner and large onion rings. Haddock (1 medium size piece came with fries ( about 12 of them an inch to 2" long with burnt ends). The onion rings were overcooked, all 9 of them, I expected better for $8. Total bill was $28 and way to much for this food.

We just happened on this place when searching for restaurants near us in Maine as we are road tripping through ... and I'm so glad we did! We are from KS and we're hoping to have a few good New England seafood eating experiences, and Fisherman's Net was exactly that! We each had a chowder and then he had fried Oysters and I had a crab roll. Delicious!!

Just a Little Seafood market/Restaurant it's perfect for what it is.... The seafood here is simple fresh and outstanding.... The fried seafood has just a fine coating of flour... All it needs... No gritty corn meal!! Scallops, lobster calamari all fresh and not over cooked....
Prices are good so are the portions ..
If you want fresh seafood made the way it should be stop over

Employees are so friendly and the food was amazing! Definitely get the lobster roll, and if you love a variety of seafood, the seafood chowder was great.
I’m not even a huge seafood person, but this place is amazing. Food is phenomenal, staff is lovely.

Top notch lobster roll. One of the best I've had in Maine. The seafood chowder was generous and fresh, but the lobster roll is seriously sublime. Don't miss out on this gem, worth any trip.
