I recently visited the fisherman restaurant to sample their cuisine and provide an honest assessment of my experience. Unfortunately, my visit left me disappointed.
The food was not up to par with my expectations. The dish I ordered, in particular the fish, was dry and lacked any notable seasoning or creativity. The overall taste and presentation did not meet the standards I would expect.
Moreover, the service was sluggish and the meal took longer than expected to arrive. I understand that good food and timely service are the cornerstones of a great dining experience.
However, it is worth mentioning that the price of the meal was reasonable given the quality of the food.
In conclusion, while the cost was fair, the food and service were not up to the mark.

While it might not be a fancy tourist place, the food here is amazing. So give it a try if you go to Paje, you won’t regret it. We will definitely go back

A very positive experience. We had a grilled octopus and it was great. The hamburger was average,below expectations, the avocado smoothie was delicious, we also drank other juices - very good too. The price was similar to other restaurants. It’s on the beach so the view is splendid…
Maybe it could be a bit cleaner,it’s a beach style restaurant so anyway its ok.

Total Scam, watch out!! We are being bullied to go there and pay prices which were way too expensive. We were forced to drink alcohol and our children were horrified!! The owner was drunk and/or stoned! Be aware and don’t ever go there!

Great prices and big portions! The quality is excellent and the food is fresh. The potato chips are the best we had in Zanzibar.
This is the only restaurant in which we eat twice. Absolutely delicious!
One of the best restaurants in Nungwi. Im differently going back wen i visit Zanzibar again. You sit an indulge on beautiful food right in front of white sands n a clear blue beach. The food was fresh and the beer "kilimajaro" was just too refreshing
We had Lobster, prawns and whole fish. The praws were served with one of the best coconut rice I've ever tested. 😋
Delicious and fresh dishes! Beats the fancy restaurants! Elegant in its simplicity. Very good service- very polite and respectful staff. Particularly Haji salum abdalla who speaks fluent english 😊
