We absolutely HATED our last experience here. We went there for a nice Valentine's Day dinner and it was completely ruined. Our dinner started out good with a crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. Then our entrees came and everything was COLD. We let the waiter know that our food was cold. He said he would take care of it. We said we didn't just want them reheated since we had food that would not be good reheated (steak, lobster tail, ribs and chicken). Needless to say they just reheated it so everything was now overcooked and dry. We asked to speak to the manager. We let him know what had happened. His name was Leroy. He got irate and said that we could either eat it the way it was or leave. Regardless of our decision we had to pay for it or he was going to call the police. What a great Valentine's Day this was turning out to be -- NOT!!! Since the food was not edible at this point we paid the bill of $150 (not including the 20% tip they had the nerve to add on) and left. We've tried to contact the owner 3x now and he has refused to call us back. This is the worst dining experience we've ever had. And we eat out a lot. If you want edible food that won't give you food poisoning from being undercooked/cold or dried out from being overcooked definitely pass Fishbone's by every...single...time. The customer service was very disappointing. I asked for extra crackers for both orders. I had no problem with paying for extra. When I got to my destination, I didn't have any crackers at all. It may not seem important to anyone else but I didn't go home. It was my first and only meal for the day and because of my schedule, I had planned to eat between stops. When I spoke with the manager, he started talking to me about gratuity. Sad, sad, sad. He had no sympathy because he wasn't the one that was inconvenienced. I will not be going back to that particular restaurant. He appeared to be bothered because he had to talk to me about crackers. But I specifically asked for EXTRA and they gave me none. At this point, I can't eat my food until I purchase crackers. I guess I should've checked my bag. The manager was very bothered and disengaged. 🤔🥺 Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Gumbo Ya Ya
The food was good, service was good; however, I will probably not go back to Fishbone's as I don't appreciate that a gratuity was already not just calculated but ADDED to my bill. I can understand for larger tables, but I was there on my own. I don't like being forced to a certain amount; I am sorry that there are stingy/rude persons out there, but I am not one of them. The waiter was great and the food was good. The drinks from the soda fountain were a bit watered down though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Pasta Orleans W
