Friendly staff very thorough and patient explaining to us what a lot of the dishes were and what they came with they were extra polite and the ambient is very calm and family oriented also super clean and not pricey at all!! The owner of this place is wonderful. We visited on Mother's Day, it was about 5 minutes after regular closing time, but they sat us down anyway. The wait staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We came from a seafood town, so we were pleasantly surprised that the seafood was tasty. I ordered the seafood sampler, which was plentiful and filling. We also ordered the boom boom shrimp which was also tasty, even though it was not spicy. We saved a little room for dessert, the strawberry cheesecake was light and delightful. The fried bread pudding was crunchy and good. I definitely reccomend this place. We stopped in while passing through on a trip and man I am happy I did! The food was great, I had the shrimp and grits. The grits and shrimp where cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic! Wife had the creole pasta and it was prepared just as well. All the side dishes where amazing and so was the service. We finished with the bread pudding and Luke everything else it was amazing. Will plan this stop in my next travels.

My wife's catfish had very little flavor and was not hot. Neither of our fries were hot. On the upside, my salmon, the beans, coleslaw, the gumbo, and the green tomato relish (bought a jar to take home) were great! Ask for Mallory. Very good service. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Good catfish. The set up was great.. pickle tomatoes relish was great...They are little high price .deserts on these lime pie, chocolate bread pudding was very good but the price was way too much.
We ate here because it was closer than driving into Hot Springs and I wish we would have made the drive. Service was great but the food was not what we are used too. The Cajun selections are not Cajun at all. It seriously tasted like Campbell's soup version of ettouffe. I would stick to the fried options and and avoid their signature dishes.

While visiting lake DeGray we wanted to find some catfish. I had high expectations after reading all the reviews. They will fill you up with the "set up" which is all you can eat beans slaw tomato relish and hush puppies. I had the shrimp catfish and gumbo. The fish was good but wasn't what I expected and I have never had hush puppies made with flour , they were okay but not what I call hush puppies. Others may like them better. They do offer a lot of options with several being sugar free fried pies that are homemade off sight. The staff was very kind and helpful. It might not be my cup of tea but give them a try they might be your new favorite restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
