Great service! Had just gotten our rental car and this was a little stop on the way to Tahoe and these folks really set the precedent for the friendliness of everyone up here. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Only complaint was hamburger a little too charred but nothing we couldn’t handle.
Not impressed, my burger was charred on one side and bad American Cheese on the other. You would think after so many years of making burger patties you would know how to cook a Patty and not burn it.......... already felt u comfortable with service so didn't want to complain. I've seen the movie "waiting", not going there. Regardless, this is the second time I've been here and sorry to say the last.
I had the best broccoli cheese soup I have had in years! Then drank a very good chocolate milkshake.

The customer service was amazing. The food matched it entirely. I had the mushroom burger with some added bacon (per the server's suggestion). My wife had the pulled pork sandwich. My grandparents the hot dogs. Service was quick, patient, and friendly. They offer a variety of spirits which we didn't have on this trip. The burger was moist and juicy and the potato salad was flavorful and savory. The pulled pork was absolutely divine with smoky and sweet times that rounded the flavor into probably the best Western BBQ I've had in years. The dogs weren't anything special but there's not much to a hot dog. Service was great. We were met with smiles, good company, humor, professionalism, and speed, which was great. Half way through our 25ish min break from the shops, they returned to the table to check on us and bring us some more drinks if we needed. I'll say it once more. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. It IS an outside establishment but seating is covered. Not a negative, just FYI.
