I have eaten here twice, and tried to the third time- great food but the customer service is by far below par for a high end restaurant. Here are my experiences:
1st Visit- My Fiance ordered a filet, I ordered a Chicago deep dish pizza. They informed us that the pizza could take up to an hour which we were fine with because we had drinks and an appetizer. We asked for her food to be brought out when my pizza came out. 20 mins later we receive her steak. I asked the guy why and he couldn’t answer it and just left it on the table and walked on. We didn’t get to eat dinner together so I said something to the owner- he tried to make up for it by giving her a free dessert to eat when my pizza got there.
2nd Visit- Ordered a Chicago Deep Dish Pizza with Pepperoni, Mushroom, Extra Cheese- got home and had a sausage pizza- tasted horrible
3rd Attempt- I’m a believer in chances and mistakes- Tonight 3-2.. called to order a pizza at 6:00- got greeted by a girl who was rude and told me that they are not taking to-go orders because the kitchen is busy- really? I didn’t mind if it took a while but wasn’t even given a chance.
Horrible Customer Service and Experience for a restaurant of your stature - if you are that busy, management needs to staff appropriately- if you still can’t handle being busy I hope my review reaches out to some people to make you a lot “less” busy

In my new top three! Literally everything we had was amazing! I like seasoning so I automatically ask for salt. Didn't need to add it. Trista's Service was top tier and bathroom was nice and clean.

My wife and I decided to eat here on a Saturday night when they were extremely busy. We did not have reservations. We were told it would be a 30 min wait. We decided to get a drink at the bar until our table was ready. The bar was full and we had no issue with standing and waiting. A very busy waitress was sweet enough to go get us barstools so we could sit and wait. The bartender who was also extremely busy kept checking in with us making sure we were being taken care of. Our table was available shorter than time expected and the food was great. Appetizers were great and the deep dish pizza was delicious. We are very picky about our pizza being we are from Chicago. Couldn't be happier. Our waitress was phenomenal. The point of this review is that it is very rare you find an establishment where everyone in the restaurant delivers this level of service. It is even more rare that you have great service partnered with great food. If you are in the Cookeville area do not sleep on this restaurant.

Chicago Style Deep Dish 12 Pizza
It’s a roast for Fire & Vine Cookeville . We went last night and the service was terrible and the food was not great.
They first took us to a table that was not cleaned. No big deal really, so we stood there and waited for the young ladies to clean the table.
Our server came and took our order and delivered our drinks and then came back 10 minutes later to deliver the salad. My drink was mostly empty and she said she would bring me another drink. That was the last we saw of her for a long time. They delivered our pizza and I did not have anything to drink. When they delivered our pizza I asked the guy to tell our waitress that I am still needing a drink. She never came. I ate two slices of pizza without anything to wash it down. By this time my wife’s drink was empty too. My wife took the empty glasses to the bar and the bar tender just walked away. My wife then told the manager we needed drinks. He finally came a few minutes later.
When it was time for the check, the waitress was again mia. We finally flagged her down and was going to pay with a gift card. She said she had no idea how to use a paper gift card so she disappeared again. She came back 15 to 20minutes later.
The food was not that great either. The pizza did not have a lot of taste. It was rather bland.
