I love Festival Foods! It's got almost anything you want for weekly groceries- might want to look elsewhere for ethnic selections, however. The store hours are great because I can stop in almost anytime I want.
The produce section is always immaculate. Quality produce placed carefully so as not to bruise. There's always good sales including regular (probably bi weekly) sales on butter, sour cream, etc. Some of the best prices on soda in town. The fish counter...not so much. It often stinks like fish should not. I avoid.
Wow! It’s thanksgiving day and I just had the best experience ever in a grocery store at festival. The cashier was genuinely nice and a guy named Andrew gave me a free product for helping someone find something in the store since they are decently busy with the last minute holiday shopping. I expected people to be in rush and not happy working on thanksgiving but the employees of festival seemed happy to help! Amazed and they made my day.
BEAUTIFUL STORE! I’ve been to many Festival stores before, but this one takes the spot of my new favorite. As usual for Festival, customer service is crazy off the charts good, tasty selection of loads of local and hard to find Wisconsin foods, but where this location shines is its unique construction. The ceiling here uses recycled trees that were removed from nearby Tenney Park for structural support beams, which is something I’ve never seen in a grocery store before. Not only is this sustainable, and stylish, but proof Festival goes to any lengths possible to maximize the experience for customers and employees alike. If I could give this 420 stars, I would PS, give Alexis a boomerang! She’s amazing!
Visiting from out of town. Stumbled upon Festival by accident. LOVED IT! If I lived in Madison they y would be my go to. Friendly staff, store was clean well organized and browser friendly. Selection of a mega store in neighborhood setting. Thumbs WAY up! 👍

Paid 23.21 for 5 items. Half gallon milk, 6 pack of brownies, 4 pack of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, 67.5 ouches of laundry detergent and half of can of pringles this don’t make no dam sense never coming here again. I mean never this is highway robbery times ten.
Purchase well made! 🤩🤤 4.5 stars for not having Ham Salad, but the kind employee explained they only carry it during their Salad Week(?) in the summertime due to it not being very popular … so, it’s back to 5 stars! 👍

We ordered for pickup from Festival on East Washington in Madison. Ordering was so, so easy online - just be a little patient with the search feature and try a different search if not getting results you want (for example try "coffee ground" if just "coffee" is giving too many non-relevant results). The shoppers are great and best buy codes were well into future instead of a day or two later. Excellent quality and selection of merchandise. Everything was ready on time, and they also did the extra work to quickly combined two orders for us so that we didn't have to come back. We even got a birthday cake - just add candles : ) Thank you for the very safe no-contact pickup service during this awful covid pandemic.
So I tonight I visited your store near downtown Madison with my girlfriend & was in the self checkout lane & was having some problems with the scanner. The girl working the cash register on the crutches was clearly having some sort of mental setback due to her health & staffing issues you guys were facing. When we were struggling with the scanner the machine said that help was on the way several times. The girl working expressed frustrations that she had to her job & even tried to ignore us. When she came to help I simply asked if she was okay which she replied “no” because of her leg & the staffing issues. She then became very passive aggressive & we spoke with the manager “Santana” regarding her behavior towards us when simply we just needed her to scan her badge so we could proceed with our shopping . He was a help with our problems with the self checkout line but regarding your employee he completely disregarded her actions & even tried to point the blame towards us. I get being short staffed because since COVID we’ve all faced this reality & been through this. But at some point we must uphold some sort of generosity towards shopping customers. We recently moved up here from Florida & was excited to be a customer to your store, but if this is the standard for your stores. I will never step foot in another Festival grocery store ever.
