Fernando's Hideaway is just that, tucked away up a hill from Lower Bay and well worth the visit. Good quality food cooked well. The Rum punches are also good here. Value for money and certainly worth a visit. Ring before to check menu for that evening as it changes to suit what fresh food is available. Very nice indeed! Love this place, like eating in a tree house! His famous Goat water (goat soup with dumplings) on Saturdays is not to be missed! . Fish caught by Fernando on a daily basis then he does all the cooking with his sisters as front of house. It's not sophisticated or cheffy but just such a pleasure to eat here if you like quirky.

Locally run restaurant with a daily menu of just a few dishes. Nice atmosphere, good music. Food was basic, but reasonably priced and well cooked.
Great ambience! Great food! Great service! The fish fillet was fresh, well seasoned and well cooked. The chicken was the most tender chicken I have ever eaten in my life. Make sure you get ice cream with your dessert! Overall great experience at this place
Such a wonderful restaurant! Feels like you're in a treehouse. Wonderful staff, very sweet. The food was probably the most delicious food we had while in Bequia. Everything was fresh and homemade. Feels like you're sitting in Fernando's kitchen while he's cooking. A must visit while on the island. Make sure you make a reservation!
THE best fish dish i have ever had, vegetables alone were 5 star. But please book, its a small place , the chef opened just for us when we turned up late. Love this place , will be back asap
The food was the best we've had on Bequai. The music and general ambience was quite pleasant. We had some delicious Red snapper that Fernando had caught that morning. Fernando was also able to accommodate my family's food restrictions. It is important though to make a reservation as Fernando doesn't take drop in diners.
We had an amazing meal at Fernando’s. The food was fantastic and the vibe at the restaurant was really excellent. Definitely my favourite place to eat on Bequia Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Great, fresh food. Good Service. Staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Depending on what part of the island you are staying on it might be a bit off the beaten path. However it will be well worth the trip.
Ate there last night - superb food. Menu is delivered verbally - lentil & eggplant soup offered to start, with chicken, roast lamb or pan-fried barracuda as the choice for main. Barracuda was tremendous. All ingredients freshly sourced. 3 courses including GnT and a glass of wine (from a very short wine list), around 27 USD per head - very reasonable value. Recommended.
