AVOID taking their shuttle at all costs. The bus was absolutely FULL OF COCKROACHES 🪳🤮 This was the most disgusting bus ride of my life and we’ve been traveling around Africa by local transport for the last four months. It still makes me wanted to barf thinking about it, which wouldn’t make me the first one, since the first thing I noticed getting on the bus was the smell of vomit. The bus takes 12 hours, so it’s not even fast like they promised, AND it’s way overpriced at 1250MTC. My advice, stand in front of the market at 3:30am, get a chappa to Inhambane and get a coach from there, it will be more comfortable, affordable and faster!
This place is right at the beach with a beautiful terrace to eat, work or relax while watching the sea. The rooms are great value for money given the hotel next door charges 10x for the same location.
I expected to have a nice New Year’s party - little did I know I would be scammed out of all my money
The kitchen is very sparse, you can borrow things from the restaurant kitchen on site but you have to ask each time you want to cook. The food the hostel offers is cheap and good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The private rooms are very nice with great views, we didn't stay in the dorms. Great location right on the beach. Would stay again.

Super cheap, good budget facilites, a short walk down the beach to town
Great campsite, good location, cheap beers and a short walk from the beach. A good place to set up camp and explore the area and surf the nearby surfspots. Friendly locals and great local beers. The local rum while not standardised in the slightest will offer the best nights and the worst morning wake ups... tipo tinto all the way.
The best camping in Tofo and closest to the beach. We were diving with Liquid so it was perfect for us. Affordable accommodation, hot showers and friendly staff. Even though it wasn’t peak season (quiet), I was upset with the fact that cleaners play music and live in the kitchen at the camping area. Overall we had a great experience and got 20% discount at Liquid for camping at Fatima’s.
It literally takes 40 minutes to get a pizza, and that's when the restaurant is not even busy. When it is, you can expect to wait over an hour... The food is mediocre, they don't take card, they spike the alcohol-prices during high season and they do not offer cleaning your room even if you stay for several weeks. The good stuff is the location and the environment and other guests. The staff is nice, but just slow in general.
It's at the beach which is nice but it's quite run down. Would need a renovation. Fatimas bus is leaving there for Maputo everyday at 4pm. Which is why I took my last night there. You can stay at the dorm for about 500MT. You will need your own sleeping bag!

Fatima's Nest is beautifully located smack on the beach. The beach is fantastic. I stayed in one of the private bungalows. There is no A/C and the fan is merely for decoration - spinning with 10 loops per minute.
