The Currys were very flavorful with good portions. We loved the Tea Tarik (pulled tea). The tea took our taste buds back to Georgetown Malaysia, where we were introduced to the pulled tea. The prices are in the medium range. The restaurant has great views overlooking the Mekong River. This was our Christmas dinner.

This place is phenomenal. The best Indian food I’ve had in a really long time.. didn’t expect to get in Laos 🇱🇦. Staff is very friendly and high attention to detail. Was really helpful when I asked about what I wanted to order. The view while you eat is stunning 😍. Check this place out. You won’t regret it!

DO NOT GO HERE.
CANNOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE SUCH A HIGH RATING
Do not let this guy con you into thinking it's how south Indian food is made or that it is south Indian flavour. I lived in the south of India for 3 years. I promise you it tastes completely different.
I asked the waiter (who I think is also the chef) what "Daal Dhaduka is on his menu. As I had never heard of this dish. He said it's daal tadka. I said I'll have that. It DID NOT TASTE INDIAN AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE if you want Indian food. When he asked me if everything was okay, I said this does not taste like daal tadka. He immediately got defensive and said you don't even know what Daal tadka is, you were asking me what it is on the menu. I said excuse me sir, get the menu, and showed him Daal Dhaduka was written. He said oh spelling mistake. I said 'tadka' is spelled differently. I'm Indian. I know what Daal tadka is supposed to taste like. The ARROGANCE he has and how defensive he got immediately, trying to blame me is honestly terrible customer service. I strongly recommend going to the neighbouring Indian place Chennai Restaurant, they're far more closer to the Indian taste.
The food is far below standard of even the worst Indian places I have been too.
Daal is a tasteless lumpy yellow pulp with some curry leaves, mustard seeds and red chilli sprinkled. They don't even look tempered.
PLEASE AVOID

We had some really good food over here! The dishes are very tasteful and cheap. The view is amazing during sunset. We ordered 2 drinks, paneer butter masala, palak paneer, samosa, 2 times plain rice and paratha and it was under €10 in total!

Incredible!!!! Best curry I have had in south east Asia! You have to try, crazy cheap, fresh food and simply fantastic food! £10 for 2 people wow. All seven of us at the table finished all our food, it was fantastic. As someone who often gets curry’s this was amazing.

My recent dining experience at Fathima Indian & Malaysian Restaurant was disappointing. As an enthusiast of authentic Indian cuisine, I found the food to be lackluster. The thali lacked depth and complexity, while the naan bread was undercooked and lacked the desired texture. The butter chicken was decent, but it couldn't redeem the overall dining experience.
One positive aspect of the restaurant is its affordability, making it attractive for those on a budget. However, the low prices seem to come at the expense of quality and authenticity. The food lacked the vibrant and flavorful elements that are characteristic of true Indian cuisine.
Given my experience, I find it surprising that this restaurant has received high reviews. It makes me question if the reviewers have ever experienced authentic Indian food or if they are simply trying to help the restaurant attract more customers.

I eagerly anticipated the opening of this restaurant, so much so that I patiently waited outside until it opened.
However, my excitement turned into disappointment when I went downstairs to use the washroom. The kitchen was a mess with oil bottles scattered on the floor, the washrooms were far from clean.
What alarmed me the most was the lack of sanitation among the cooks – no aprons, no hairnets and one even drinking juice directly from a jar. This level of disregard for hygiene is absolutely unacceptable.
I strongly advise against tourists visiting this establishment, as the poor sanitation practices could easily lead to health issues.
A disappointing experience overall.

Five stars for super flavour and kind staff.
Many things unavailable on the menu, but what remained was delicious!
The paneer is really tofu, vegetarians and vegans rejoice! Very tasty food.
The 19 year old female waitress was so sweet.
