This was my 1st time at the farmhouse restaurant & I loved it. This place isn't like a Cafe or regular restaurant. You walk to the cashier & give them your order. Then they give you a number & bring the food to the table when done. There is free water but if you want something else you place an order at the coffee stand area. Then wait for your drink. There is a mezzanine & it's a more private setting. They have live music which I definitely will be checking out. I saw a drink menu so there's that while listening to the live band. My personal experience was great. Jo the cashier was amazing & such a sweetheart. I told her I was a Virgin to the restaurant & she was so much help. Great food at a a good price. My colleague and I ate breakfast at the Farmhouse Restaurant because we were in search of an alternative to the breakfast options at the hotel at which we were staying. She’s vegetarian and was able to select from a variety of options on the breakfast menu. Both of our meals were made with fresh ingredients and was tasty. The service was good although a little slow. Located on South Neil Street in Champaign, this restaurant is located inside the Harvest Market. There are a variety of counters/coolers to order types of food: deli sandwiches, sushi, burgers, lasagna, salad bar, flatbreads, soups, wings, fried chicken, etc. they have seating upstairs and downstairs. For having a menu that doesn't focus exclusively on burgers, Farmhouse Restaurant has quite possibly the best burgers in Champaign-Urbana. Not only are the burgers bigger, tastier, and individually unique but the value is unbeatable as you get a free side of your choosing (sweet potato fries FTW). Whoever wins "The People's Choice" award for best burger needs an asterisk next to their name because Farmhouse Restaurant isn't listed as an option to vote. If "The News-Gazette" had actually included them in the competition, then we'd be dunking like Vince Carter and proclaiming, "It's over." They are located inside Harvest Market and you can schedule pick-up on their website. Edit: FYI due to a technical issue, the online menu hasn't been updated to reflect their in-house menu. So the item you order online may not be the same in store. For example, you place an online order for Shrimp Tacos and end up with a Shrimp Po Boy. Not what I expected when I was looking for the location. However, it was a great surprise. A relaxing environment where you can eat, mingle, work! The food was good and the staff was great. I really enjoyed the coffee. This place is great because it will prevent you from shopping hungry or allow you to knock out some work and pick up your dinner on the way out. Overall, I like everything about it! Must try place.

Food tasted phenomenal and fresh! The quality of food here is amazing considering it’s in a grocery! Service was also great. Highly recommend if you’re stopping by Harvest Market because they only use locally sourced ingredients!

This cafeteria-style restaurant located inside of a grocery store has plenty of food options. The food is good. The customer lines, service, and payment are not efficient nor intuitive especially when they are busy. If you are seeking quick service when they are busy, you may be out of luck. The plentiful options cause indecisive customers to increase service times. For the most part though, the place was clean and seating options are available even when busy. The food is delicious! On weekends a sumptuous breakfast buffet is offered. On the first floor there is a coffee bar. Upstairs offers wonderful views to enjoy as you eat. There are nig screen TVs as well. A good place to do get some work done, relax and reflect, or do some reading. Over in one corner are easy chairs and couches. A bar is also upstairs! A hidden treasure inside Harvest Market. Don't miss this one!

This place is so great for a quick lunch. Great soups, huge salad bar (pay by weight), coffee shop and more. I knly marked 3 stars for service only because it is countet service only. Service is good! We eat here alot. Plus it is inside the Harvest Market Grocery store which is the best place in Champaign for specialty foods.
