Loved this jewel of a restaurant! Very friendly staff too! We had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, salmon cake and grits. Those were the best grits that I've ever tasted! You have to get the grits!
The only negative thing is the food on Styrofoam. Not my favorite there.

I selected a delectable grit bowl, complete with a cooked egg and a savory salmon patty of my choice. In my enthusiasm for salmon patties, I couldn't resist ordering an extra one. The grits, once adorned with a generous dollop of butter and a pinch of salt, achieved perfection. However, I found myself yearning for more eggs; typically, I indulge in three scrambled eggs. The salmon patties, though, stole the show with their abundant flavors that reached their pinnacle when dipped into the creamy grits.
I contemplated indulging in a slice of cake, but to my surprise, the sole flavor option available was pumpkin spice. I'd recommend checking out this establishment when you find yourself in Gastonia. #gratuityadded

Every Single Thing was DELICIOUS. The shrimp bowl was my favorite and the potatoes and french toast.

The food is very good. Shrimp and grits very flavorful. Counter serve diner set up. Complimentary coffee if you dine in. I took my brownie to go. Nut lovers choice. I was so happy with walnut brownie option.

AMAZING I MEAN AMAZING atmosphere was good they're very polite and the prices and VERY affordable for the portion size. Might I add they're BLACK OWNED when I was just searching it didn't tell me that!!!
PSA the only thing I don't like is the "salmon" that's the only misleading thing it's salmon patties not the other salmon!!! It was good I just don't like salmon patties I recommend the chicken sausage
Stumbled across this amazing BO restaurant, while exploring on a relaxing day to myself in 2022. So cute and simple with good vibes, even got to say hello to the owner, she seems so humble. It was nice and peaceful, I enjoyed my meal while the cashier played music that I also enjoyed. Food was SOOO good! Will now be my go to restaurant when passing through Gastonia.
Made it back to Fannie’s last weekend with my husband, it was Delish!! He wanted to get it again Sunday & Monday. Lol They are the truth in that kitchen!!

I ordered breakfast very excited to taste the Grits since this is my first time ordering. The Grits were very dissatisfying to me, the Grits were more like the texture of soft mashed potatoes I have eaten a lot of grits in my life Harmony yellow all types but I never had grits like this it was just not for me and then I had eggs scrambled with cheese and it tasted like the cheese was not real cheese but a cheese sauce they also need to update the prices on their menu because it was $2 more than what I saw online which was a surprise to me when I got there

Great breakfast food with a lot of flavor! The only small issue is that they had no good beverages. The only thing they had was canned drinks and bottled water. The drinks were even chill though.
