The service provided by a Chinese staff was totally outrageous. She was extremely rude and raised her voice when my family went to collect the cake. The previous staff which took the order made a mistake by not keying in the details in their system and I explained to her via phone the needed details and yet she would not give the cake without the receipt. What is the purpose of having a system when it's not functioning? I had to go back and look for the receipt to take the cake in the middle of the function. The Chinese staff even challenged me to make a complaint. Do teach your staffs how to communicate, correspondence and react to situations when comes to dealing with customers.

Bought a cake on mother's day Several hours after few slices of cake my family and I fell severely ill.we went to clinic and were evaluated by specialist Dr. He diagnosed us with food poisoning.We have always enjoyed your cake and pastries but the severity of the food poisoning caused me and my family terrible suffering. I don't know if it's normal for you to receive complaints from your customers, but it's certainly not normal for me to consume low quality food especially when costs me a good chunk of money.This incident needs to be investigated and necessary precautions must be taken to ensure the safety and satisfaction of your customers! Tried to reached out the manager of the branch but I didn't get a proper replies from them yet.

On Sunday, 7.45pm I went to this shop for buy a Ice cream cake. there is no any worker to help me to take out the cake from refrigerator so I decided to take out myself and open the refrigerator. Once I open a Chinese girl shouting from the counter " who open the Fridge nanti cake cair habis korang" said. she must think that I also know how to handle a ice cream cake but the issue is if you really care about your ice cream cake you must be send any of your worker to help me. she shouted with me with a high sound. everyone in the shop starring at me. you must be tell with me in good manner. this is the way how you treat your customer. I'm all the way from KL to celebrate Father's day with my family. The way the Cashier treated me, makes me very disappointed.
Hi. I am here to share my experience in ordering a cake for my mother and grandmother for us to celebrate on Mother's Day (10th May 2020). On 7th March 2020, I have contacted the Family Confectionery Ipoh Garden East to order one Mango Castle Cake. Beforehand, I have asked the female worker (named by Wind), are you able to deliver the cake on 10th March 2020 as I know your cake shop will be busy on the exact Mother's Day? She said, no problem and the cake may be late. Then, I asked, how late is your late? She answered, 530-600pm delivered to my house. After I considered, I booked and make the full payment.
On 9th May 2020, I called and informed I am able to collect the cake myself on Mother's Day. I thought this process will be convenient as I collect the cake myself.
On 10th May 2020 morning, I contacted Wind and asked has the cake ready and what time can I collect the cake? She said, the cake will be delivered to their shop about 1pm.
At 1230pm, she called me and said there is a delay for the cake and the cake will be delivered by 3-4pm. So, I waited patiently for them to call me back.
At 530pm, there was no call by them and I contacted Wind. She said, sorry, the cake is not delivered yet. May be 6-630pm. I am really disappointed with this cake shop's service and integrity. I told this female worker, Wind. You keep telling me the cake has not arrived. Can you deliver the cake to KPJ specialist hospital when you got the cake? For your info, my grandmother was admitted into hospital. I was hoping to bring the cake to hospital to celebrate Mother's Day with my grandmother and mother.
However, at 630pm only, Wind called me the cake has arrived at the cake shop and their delivery guy has went out to deliver cake. Fine. So, I asked, what time can you send the cake to KPJ specialist hospital? she said, can't promise. maybe 8-830pm. I was already at hospital and the visiting hour is until 7pm.
After considering the time constraint, I told Wind. it's fine. it's too late for all this. I will collect the cake myself tomorrow (11 May 2020).
My mother was extremely disappointed and was looking forward to the cake. For my grandmother, she was feeling slightly better after treatment and aside from that, I was hoping to show her a nice cake to cheer her up.
In conclusion, I hope Family Confectionery management do not simply accept cake orders if you cannot make it on the day and estimate time of the day. Wind, as a staff, she is a worker and the real problem may not be on her, the real problem is on how the management manage the cake delivery on a festive day. I am writing this review for the shop to know and improve on this. Thank you.
