Last time I was there, I had the Fairborn burger, and a side order of garlic bread. The burger was fairly standard, but quite a large one for its $10 price tag, so I feel it was a good deal. The garlic bread on the other hand, hardly tasted of garlic at all, and seemed to be a couple slices of French bread basted with a very thin layer of butter that had once been in the same room as a bottle of garlic powder. The fries are steak fries reminiscent of Red Robin's. The house salad dressing is a good choice if you like tangy vinaigrettes. The dining room is sparsely decorated, and some of the booths are not in the best repair. The service is always very friendly, and the man bussing the tables is quite the character. I can tell this place has a lot of regulars, and I suppose I may become one of them in time. The first time I visited I had the chicken and dumplings Sunday special, which was excellent comfort food and extremely filling. It's bottomless, but I couldn't manage more than that first serving. Go ahead and check them out. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Chicken and Dumplings
Food had good flavor and would be better if it wasn't over cooked. There was an issue with cheese on a sandwich to which the waitress was great at handling but the owner not so much. The place is an old Ponderosa and a little run down. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
