No one told me I could grab a steaming plate of authentic Nepali Momos (Kathmandu more than Tibetan/Darjeeling style) in Dili. The tomato achar is exactly like back in Nepal. No idea how they recreated that perfectly. Thukpa is tangy and satisfying but for noodle soup aficionados - let me honest, broth is ok but noodles less so. So g ahead and grab a bowl like I did. Just expect more out of the Momos! Food: 5
The couple owner run the cafe, doing table service, cashier and kitchen. Thus do not expect to have your orders ready fast. Estimated 20mins to 35mins wait depends on the crowds. They served Indian and Nepali foods, foods are not too expensive. Range from $7 - $15 per person. Limited table with only 3 tables outdoor seating and 2 indoor tables. Share car parks with other outlets and supermarket.

I believe its the only nepali restaurant in Dili. Yet the food taste very authentic. Very much like home cook nepali food. It is a small shop tuck around the Pateo site. Facing directly opposite Pateo external sitting area. In the evening the chairs are placed out side and it much cooler. I would recommend to any one to try. My favourite is the momo chicken which is best eaten when its just served and hot and the nepal milk tea..
A lovely small restaurant with tasty food!
Best Vegetarian food in Timor Leste
Wonderful restaurant love the Choyna and the Chicken Momos and the Pakoras so good...
Great little hidden gem in the Pateo compound. Authentic momos and friendly service!
