Great ambiance and atmosphere. Historic bar/restaurant in downtown San Antonio. If you are visiting San Antonio it is certainly a place to check out. I don't really drink much but the drinks on the menu looked interesting. I just got a local beer which was nice. THe food seemed to be just OK from the opinions of the people I had dinner with. They got the chicken fried steak and were not impressed - chicken fried steak is hard to not do a good job. I am vegetarian and the only option they had was a salad. It is a meat eating restaurant so I did not expect much so I just got sides which was a nice alternative. All in all not a bad experience but I think the food could have been better. Certainly worth a visit if you are visiting San Antonio. Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Deviled Egg Flight
