This hurts to write cause I'm a massive fan of the locations around the city so when I heard they were opening nearby I damn near lost it. All hopes and excitement were soon gone when I discovered that it was a drastically scaled back version of what I was used to. Above that the empanadas didn't merit the price because they didn't taste fresh. I'm used to the made/fried to order ones that taste fresh but these taste like they were frozen. Even if the other locations freeze theirs I was never able to tell. I don't know, between the limited menu, poor visibility from the street, and value, I don't see the location lasting much longer, especially in a town with more latin American and hispanic food options than you can name.

$4.50 for an empanada is legitimately criminal. They’re solid enough, but $4.50? And the dude working there mismatched all the empanadas and labeled pouches, so we basically had to bite into each empanada to even know what flavor it was.
