It is a family style Sichuan restaurant, with relatively inexpensive spicy-flavor dishes. Because it is Sichuan flavor, which is relatively spicy and salty, thus, restaurant does accept flavor adjustment [such as less salty or more spicy] request from customers.
It seems that the Restaurant is managed by the 2nd generation of the family, and the female owner does try to extend the family tradition to provide the best Sichuan food service for the customers.
The Restaurant is a popular place for family dining and for nearby students' group gatherings or meals after classes.
As the tradition, the Restaurant does provide free hot tea for the customers.
Restaurant is generally more crowded on Friday and weekends, and, thus, reservation is recommended for these days. Waiting time for the food order is reasonable.
Tucked away in a small street in the heart of the Gongguan area, this restaurant serves up authentic Sichuan cuisine.
We ordered the Mapo Tofu, Kung Pao Chicken, Tofu Pork Stir-Fry, and fried buns. The food was flavorful and spicy enough to keep you humble.
Would recommend this place if looking for good Sichuan food in Taipei.
The price is very decent for the amount of food that I received. The flavors were great, the quantity was generous. The quality was acceptable for the price. The Szechuan flavors of this place were authentic.
Nice and affordable restaurant to get Sichuan food.
Recommend their fried tofu( Lao Pi Nen Rou)
Come with at least 4 people so that you can try more dishes.
food is ok, its a good idea to keep track on how many dishes are actually served. maybe we ordered a bit too much but 2 of the dish were never served. no apology other than have them slam the dish down. thumbs down
One of my favorite chinese food restaurant. Very delicious, great to spend time with friends and families. The best part is you don't need to order any rice because its free and refill.
Although the environment is a little bit not so comfortable.
How ever it is a great restaurant which offers SiChuan province cuisine in Taiwan with reasonable price.
I recommend
1. Spice fish head(DuoJiaoYuTou)
2.Stew fried TofU(LapP I lEnt out)
3.slice chicken salad(JiSiLaPi)
And try to avoid dish which is not SiChuan style.
Had dinner here with several business associates.
The service here was prompt, and the serving portions were generous. The food were tasty. Definitely a place worth visiting.
