This is my second year buying care packages for my Loyola student. Elisa's desserts are amazing, and a loved surprise by my daughter. I can never get a complete pic of the treats, because she and her roommate dig right in! A wonderful, local Chicago small business!! I ordered a king cake for Mardi Gras.... let me say after living in NOLA for several years it felt great to be able to find this special gem in my hometown. It tasted just like New Orleans. Absolutely moist and very sweet... loved it. And will be ordering again.... Oh and recently got a taste of their cookie cake... hands down the best thing ever! Service Delivery Food: 5 Service: 5

Elisa's King Cake was 🔥🔥🔥. Perfect amount of icing, beautifully decorated, cinnamon-y and delicious. I ordered for a Mardi Gras party on Saturday night and just enjoyed the last slice as my Mardi Gras breakfast. Will absolutely order again.

Excellent desserts, (literally my favorite cupcakes to get from anywhere) & Elisa is always so great to work with. I've gotten cupcakes, bigger birthday cakes, a dessert sampler; they are always a hit, and so creative!! My kids love the do-it-yourself cupcake kits she offers for holidays. She's my go-to and I highly recommend to anyone!!!

We absolutely love Elisa’s Cake by the #Pound and use them for all of our events. From birthday parties, to our child’s dedication, to impressing our guests with dessert trays, to surprising the kids with cookie and cupcake kits… Elisa and Ella do it all and they do it well. All of their baked goods are delicious and beautiful!

Elisa is so creative and makes your vision come to life in her cakes! And the taste !you can not find a better cake! Customer service is also top notch. Every encounter is so pleasant.
