I would give Elida’s Bakery six stars if I could. I cannot recommend them enough! We ordered cupcakes and a cake through Elida for our wedding. There were so many flavor combinations and the process went so smoothly. Not only were they visually appealing, but they tasted INCREDIBLE. We received so many compliments! The service was outstanding. I later learned they had three other weddings the same day, and despite it being such a busy day, they arrived right on time and set up a beautiful display.
I have spoken with Elida and a few of her family members on multiple occasions and they are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. I highly recommend this business for so many reasons! They are the BEST!!

We searched for this bakery on Google maps while shopping in the Iowa City/Coralville area hoping to pick up a sweet treat for our Grandmother on our way back home (near Davenport, IA)
Was suprised that the bakery was in a mobile home park on the outskirts of Iowa City. It looked like it would have been a cute, quirky shop filled with tasty treats.
Had Google Maps mentioned this was a in-home bakery and the hours are subject to pre-orders & pickups only we would have ordered ahead.
Elida's bakery reached out and notified us they are on Social media. So for anyone looking to try this bakery out check social media first as Google doesn't specify this.

Look at how gorgeous this cake was! It was such an amazing pleasure working with Elida's bakery that I would recommend them to everyone. The cake was so delicious and everyone loved it. The design was perfect and fit in so well with our decor. She even threw in a mini tres leches cake that was to die for. Overall a great experience!

The BEST experience I’ve had ordering custom cakes! We’ve now had two custom cakes made and they both blew our expectations out of the water! And I’m not simply meaning the cakes themselves, because they were delightful, but their customer service and attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I look forward to ordering from them for our next big event and beyond!

Elida's Bakery is absolutely wonderful. The staff is friendly, patient, kind and willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. On top of that, the desserts are beyond incredible. So flavorful and the texture of the Vanilla Tres Leches and Dulce De Leche Tres Leches we ordered were amazing!! I would highly recommend ordering from Elida's Bakery!

It was super easy to order a custom cake, and Elida’s Bakery communicated and fulfilled my requests beautifully.

I called Elida's Bakery with a special request, to prepare gender reveal cupcakes for my husband and I. From the very first conversation, Elida was kind and incredibly accommodating....she was the only bakery in town that would allow us to deliver results in the morning and have cupcakes ready by the afternoon! And boy are we glad that this led us to her shop. The cupcakes were divine and beautifully decorated. She took great care in keeping it a surprise and expressed genuine excitement for us.
I am so glad we discovered her shop. This is a small business you want to support! Highly recommend.
