Service was a bit slow at first as no one came when we sat down but as they operate two shop lots, I believe they might have been at the bar area.
All 3 dishes ordered were nice but felt they could have been better. The 6 malted cereal prawns were fresh, well cooked. The malted cereal was light and crunchy and could be considered sweet. The prawns themselves weren't particularly flavoursome unless you had plenty of the cereal with it.
The special curry was let down by its description as it raised expectations. The special spices didn't seem to stand out as much as it could and felt it could have had more flavour. Nevertheless, it was well cooked and plenty of chicken to go around for 2.
They were out of the Fried bean curd with anchovies so we opted for the braised bean curd with mushrooms. They were delicious and well cooked. I love the little discs of soft Japanese tofu. My only gripe were the discs were quite thin and could have been thicker.
Overall the experience isn't half bad and it could do more to keep itself above average as there is a lot of eateries around Jonker Street although not many open late until Friday comes.
I was looking for other places in Malacca to try other versions of Devils Curry. This Bistro did not let us down.
Prices were reasonable, serving sizes appropriate and service was good.
Infact we were there on more than one occasions and food quality was consistent.
They even offered us complimentary desserts on the house and the desserts were delicious.
Due to the MCO/CMCO business was down and draught beer was not served. Beer was available only by the bottle.
All in a calm, peaceful and serene place and id love to visit them again.
I lost some of the pictures i had shot and have therefore included pictures from the restaurants fb page.

Outstanding attention of the people of the restaurant and fantastic food! We arrived slightly after 22:00h and the person in the entrance asked to the chef if it was possible to receive our order. As he agreed we entered. We ordered the fish with ginger. The administrator was very honest and indicated that it with a side dish was enough for two people. We also ordered eggplant and one glass of passion fruit and another of buah long-long (a new fruit) juices. Everything was fantastic, the food excellent and all the staff very friendly and professional. The administrator even gave us one portion of blue colored rice and another of bread that were as good as the rest of the food. A memorable dinner that we are going to remember. Thanks to everyone in the restaurant for that.
The restaurant also has a bar and karaoke!
Tasty & wonderfully spicy Serani dishes in a cosy setting, just steps away from Jonker street. Must try Debal Curry, Portuguese Baked Fish, Gula Melaka Chicken Wings with blue rice!
The food is good, especially the grill fish. Just it’s tourist price, too little portion with high price. I would recommend not have your dinner here. But supper with beer is nice.
Quiet and tasteful place. The food is great value. Eleven Restaurant is halal (one of the few on Jonker Walk) while Eleven Bistro is not. Do try the Chicken Dable and the Portuguese Noodles!
