I've previously ordered braai for lunch (takeaway), and that's an easy, reasonably priced way to enjoy braai meat, but my best experience with this establishment has got to be the intimate birthday dinner I recently planned. I was initially concerned when we were told not to play our own music, but on the night, I understand why it wouldn't have worked. We were in the VIP room. It was so beautifully set up by Elahleni's own decor team, and with the door closed, we could faintly hear the chatter and buzz from the other patrons. The food is good and the staff is helpful. Busy place, hosting a lot of events. Downfall is that waiters are always busy. They disappear for long periods of time, and we literally had to call another person, just to ask for ice. They also don’t have a variety of drinks or a drinks menu. The food was great though. If you’re not looking for a braai don’t go there. It’s mostly meat dishes. They do have salads but like your braai salads (potato and chakalaka)

So we were given our meat short today,we called and we were attended by Chef Iviwe Oh sana wat a beautiful soul, didn't even get the chance to get angry Ivi was soo polite,calm , professional and cautious Ivi gave us wat we were short of without a hustle Thanks sooo much my boo Great service 💋 Xoxo. It was very quiet, no music only TV. It's not bad if you don't like noise. The food was averaged as they serve one bean salad however it's tasty (braai meat). They provide lamb which was impressive as most braai places do not provide it. The cocktail menu is limited and they didn't have straws 🥤... The inconsistency in your food is my issue. Sometimes you hit the mark, sometimes your meat is just plain awful. My last order was so awful that we couldnt finish the food. Wors was so dry it was like we were eating cardboard. Pork was so salty and dry. Plus, the lady thats usually downstairs taking orders is always moody and uninviting.

I had the worst experience here, the waitresses had some bad attitude, the service was so poor, we waited for an hour and nobody attended us …I would never recommend this place

Meat is proper, fresh too, atmosphere is best, parking not so much but I guess there is nothing you can do there. Overall, I can come there anyday it's worth the drive 😉. Love that you got beers too lol but ya prices there are steep can one bring their own beer? Very nice and clean establishment I also love that one can call in to order.
