This is a great experience, the decor is fantastic and the salsa is homemade. Just don't order the carnitas? Apparently they don't do carnitas? No harm no foul. The carne asada is fantastic!

Tony and Marta are wonderful hosts. Friendly and outgoing, switching between languages easily. The atmosphere is spacious and open with a beautiful fountain in the middle, just as if you were sitting in lovely private courtyard, yet with small alcoves for dining privacy. The food is good and well-presented. You are welcome to stay, visit and drink in the artwork and atmosphere as long as you like. Update: Tony and Marta have retired and the younger generation are now expertly running El Superior. Service continues to be excellent and the food, if possible, is even better.
