We orded it to go and brought the food home. We wont be getting food from there any more. We were surprised that instead of using grilled, seasoned pieces of steak, we called them and they said they now shread it. We ended up just throwing them away. I don’t want to be that customer, but I will for this review. I ordered the beef burrito from El Saltillo. I asked for no cheese. My order came out with cheese on it. I kindly let the waiter know that I asked for no cheese. He brought out a new one a few minutes later. It was tasty. I got to the last bite and a small piece of raw meat fell out. I examined it to make sure it wasn’t seasoning because the burrito was covered in red sauce. I already sent back my burrito once, I did not want to be that person who complains about their food, especially when they already ate it. I really wanted to enjoy my food here. I was bummed that I had to confront the waiter. I let him know what I found. He didn’t look at the meat, he just said it was pink because of the chilly seasoning. He offered a discount. I poured water over the piece of meat to see if it was in fact the seasoning. The meat became more pink. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The absolute best chips n salsa, margaritas, tacos, fajitas and tons more! Huge menu, cheap prices, cooked like your abuela is in the kitchen! Perfect for a date night. Two can easily eat here like kings for only $25 or less. You have got to try the California burrito. The best food ever! I had the chicken faitias. The portion was huge. It was our second time going there. We put in on our favorite eating places. Staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean, the food was great and the price was awesome! 5 star for those things! The staff was a little shy and when we checked out the girl made no eye contact and gave no "thank you for your business", All of our margarita glasses had a chip on them as well as my drink cup. My wife and I stop there to eat. we were seated by the manager who gave us the menus someone pu salsa and chips after about this afican american waiter comes by and puts two straws on the table my wife asks we are ready to order he rudly tels us to wait goes to a table with 3 african women have just got seated and ask the what would they like to order. I’ve been to every Mexican restaurant around D’berville/Biloxi, and this El Saltillo has NEVER let me down. Great food and service. The cokes are never flat and the pollo loco is amazing!
