The Mexican cuisine is nice at this confectionary restaurant. To taste perfectly cooked fajitas, enchiladas and grilled beef is a really good idea. A lot of people mention that ice cream here is good. Choose delicious margaritas, you will hardly regret them. Try the great americano served here. El Potro is suitable for guests who have supper on the go as they can order dishes as a takeout. The staff is pleasant that's what makes this place so nice. Enjoyable service is something visitors agree upon here. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are adequate. It is very expensive both dishes came out at 52 dollars, I know very well the cost of the ceviche is very expensive this dish, the service was very good, the waitress was very friendly, but these prices are unfair. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great spot for a fun atmosphere, fantastic service, and really good Mexican food. I’m also a sucker for any spot that starts you off with warm fresh chips and salsa. Also, while I didn’t partake, I heard many compliments on the margaritas. Great spot to hit if you’re in the area. I had the shrimp enchiladas and would get again. I was surprised by the rating this restaurant had after our experience and I am hoping maybe we went on an off day since it was a weekday at lunchtime. I realized from reading other reviews we were not served chips and salsa as other customers were so I’m not sure what happened this day. There were not very many full tables when we arrived. However, We were first surprised that we did not get plates with our shared appetizer we ordered and had to ask for some as well as ask for additional utensils for someone else in our party. While servers were friendly and kind I just wished they were more proactive with ensuring we had everything we needed. We were also underwhelmed with the “house wings” we thought they would be in house cooked wings with a freshly made sauce but it was your typical precooked fried breaded wings you can get at any pizza/sub shop just overpriced and smaller quantity. We also had plates with steak shrimp and chicken and rice and beans. But everything on the plate lacked flavor. It felt like an Americanized version of Mexican food not Authentic Mexican food we were expecting from a Mexican restaurant. The only thing that helped us finish the meal was the guacamole we ordered and bottle of habanero sauce we requested. The only reason I’m sharing this review is because I just hope the restaurant takes the feedback and improves on it. I love to support local restaurants so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt when I don’t have a great experience but will definitely update this if we ever decide to go again. This place feels like a second home. Bartenders are fantastic, super friendly, and quick with service. Queso is top notch. Drinks are strong. I like how large the bar is and how many TVs there are to watch games. The food is authentic, fresh, and flavorful. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area!

Wow. Let me try to say this nicely! First of all, I've been to this restaurant in Chelsea 4 times, before this last visit. And the service and food were amazing! But this last time, whew chile....terrible! For starters, the waitress was rude, from jump! Her Tone, her facial expressions,...yikes, wish she wore a mask!! I ordered a 🍹 Margarita, in the glass with the wide rim. I even pointed to the photo of the drink! I told her, NO ice! Do you know, since I requested no ice, she gave me a small glass!!! My boyfriend told me to check her, but I was too hot! The steak came out super red In the middle. The portion side for the rice, wasn't even enough to feed an ant! I wasn't going to leave a tip, but I did....the least amount! Because the service sucked!! I will never, ever go back!!
