Consistency in all dishes and plentiful! Remains best setting of all! Ample seating indoors with climate controlled ambiance. No matter who is the waitress/waiter, always very friendly and courteous. All dishes can be accompanied with an avocado salad. Save for dessert -if you can! Parking on premises. Worth the drive as you cannot go wrong. Mid-afternoon is best as not too crowded. Recommended

Yesterday I came to this place for the first time. It was amazing experience. Since we arrived at the restaurant we parked immediately and was greeted by the restaurant personnel. We were immediately sit at the table assigned. Our server, Manuel, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. The food was delicious. Everything was prepared fresh at the moment. We tried different dishes as you can see in the pictures and everything was delicious. I recommend this place 💯 percent. You will love it! If I can give them a 10 out of 10 I will. When we were almost finished, a Mariachi group entered the restaurant to celebrate a private activity but everyone was able to enjoy the music! Food was pretty good. We have been back since the bad experience and everything has been good and no wait.
This was on Mother's day(I have only been to the one in Carolina which always kills it. My cousin said her shrimp were chewy and my friend sent his food back twice cause it was cold. My husband had the chuleta kan-kan and it was delicious (huge too). I had the sopa de plátano they have 2 sizes, it was fine. We ordered churrasco and carne frita and it was good too. The big problem was that this location is new so they were not organized. We put our name down and the host said 45min. I waited for rest of my 7 person party. All the smaller parties were almost immediately taken in and seated and we waited and waited. Why in the world wouldn't they join 2 small tables instead of making us wait. Then when they called us, we didn't hear and gave our table to another party. How could we hear if there were tons of people and music. We would have had to stand right in front of the host and we didn't all fit. Just ridiculous! This has never happened at the other location!)

The place looks nice and comfortable I cannot comment a lot about the inside since I ordered pick up I just commenting on what I saw when I was waiting. The waiting time was horrible I waited almost 1hr and 30min for the food and the employees were all having a laugh and talking a lot don't get me wrong laughing and talking it's not bad the bad part is that they saw me wating a lot of time there and not even 1 time they went to the back to check if my food was ready because they were talking to much. The food finally arrived and it tasted bad...All that waiting for that!! The prices are middle range.

El Platanal, was an excellent experience. Food great and good prices. Large portions and great service. It takes me back when I visited my grandparents in the mountains with the rocking chairs and plantain plants all around the restaurant. We have Mofongo with crab meat, fish and the asopado with shrimp.

First time at this new location. Love the 24/7 operating hours. Needed to get a soup 🍲 for my sick children, good as home made, a little salty for my taste but good. The order came out quickly. Will update once I try more plates. Place from outside looks very nice.
