We had a great time. There are a number of unique menu items that you don't find just anywhere. Our server was friendly and quick. She answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. It was a little loud because there was a live band (Wednesdays and Fridays) but it was fun.

The kids and I decided to take my husband here for his birthday this past weekend. The service was fast, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!! We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day for a “Day Date”. Our waiter, “Lolo” from the day before recognized us and asked about the kids. Was not expecting him to remember us but shout out, he did! But anyway back to my experience, the Margaritas and Pina Colada’s was amazing not to mention the nachos, taco salad, and fries. Highly recommend!!

The restaurant is very modern and very nice. They provided chips and salsa. I ordered the Texas fajitas. The portion was ample. The tortillas were freshly made and very delicious. The fajitas were very flavorful. Sometimes when I have ordered fajitas they are bland. These fajitas were very delicious. They were full of flavor. The dish included steak, chicken, and shrimp. Uruel did a great job. He was very attentive. Thank you for a great meal.

This was our first time trying El Patron since they’ve been open in the area..
no long wait to sit.
Our waiter was very nice and quick with our drinks and food.
The food was awesome: the loaded nachos, omggg SOOOO GOOD. :))))
That’s almost a meal so be careful with ordering too much.
I also had the cheese and chicken enchiladas. They were good as well.

I had the liquid Mari-Jane and tasted the balance of sweetness and alcohol.
The menu is a bit overloaded for woman like me who never know what to pick 😂 but by the time our waiter came to the table I was able to make a decision.

We’ve been a couple of times now, and each time everything was fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Slidell. The chilaquiles were top notch, and the street corn is an amazing shareable appetizer for the table. The house margarita is $10 and better than the top shelf anywhere in town.
Call and ask what different theme nights they have coming up. This is a great addition to
Slidell.

Chicken Enchiladas
It's one of the best Tex -Mex grills I have been to. The atmosphere is top-notch. I had the street tacos. I asked Lenny , the bar tender, to oder what he would eat for me. I was not disappointed. Thank you guys for the awesome lunch !

I had a chicken enchilada dinner. It was on the lighter side, but I understand since you can always add more salt or hot sauce, but can't tone it down.

Had dinner 1/27/24. Food was excellent. Had the Molcajette and the quality was great and a great portion, a real man size meal. Cocktails were good and the beer was cold. Full bar available. Good children's menu.
I only gave a 4 star, because the service could have been better. Server was good and nice, but he had a large area to cover, not his problem.
I would recommend and return.

This was our first time and let me just say Amazing!!! The service and atmosphere was amazing! The food was amazing! There was 12 of us and we all ordered a different item on the menu plus three different appetizers to share and every single one of us was satisfied. The food is very well priced and the menu is perfect if you’re looking for an Americanized Mexican restaurant where the whole family can find something they will enjoy. The food is consistently good, and service is fast. However, I’ve been a few times, and each time I’ve had a less than great experience with the server. Your drinks don’t get refilled without you having to stop someone and ask, same if you need napkins; and the servers are are curt and don’t provide a comfortable experience. I really hope I just got unlucky each time, because the restaurant is otherwise fantastic.
