My wife and I stop here every chance we get. The birria tacos are her favorite and in her opinion, the best between Wilmington and Raleigh. Everything on the menu is delicious! I highly recommend this place. It checks off all the boxes, including friendly service, fair portions, and authentic quality. This place looks pretty unassuming if you pass it by. We stopped in on our way home from Wilmington to have lunch, we miss the good Mexican food from AZ/Cali.. well this absolutely hit the spot. The staff were super friendly and helpful! We got tacos al pastor, enchiladas, chicken empanadas.. all of it was delicious. Their store has everything you need, too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really outstanding tamales. Everything is homemade and it shows. The service was attentive and the prices were reasonable. I think the salsa could be spicier, but that's me. We will definitely be back. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food and service! Tamales are authentic!! Joel was kind enough to make a special Pomegranate with jalapeños Margarita for me! So delicious! Definitely stop in when you can.

To start everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice little grocery shop attached. Authentic. Food was good only reason for the 3 stars is 1. our chimichangas tasted like the oil was a bit old and while I love all the cheese inside it wasnt quite melted all the way. Was thick and chunky. (The chicken inside had amazing flavor) 2. The rice seemed a little overcooked and too dry. 3 which is not to big of a problem as it happens. My chimi had a toothpick inside it where they hold it together during frying. Could have been bad if I took a bite with out looking at and cutting food into smaller bites. It happens though so very understanding and atleast 2 people came to check after they were made aware and apologized. Very good people. The good stuff was the beans were perfect with a little spice to it. The horchata was better than most other places but a little strong. Still good though. The salsa was great just wish it had a little more spice to it. Definitely give this place a try. The people are so wonderful definitely worth trying again. Delicious food, and great service. We loved the fresh salsa and nachos. Our food arrived quickly, everything was great, and our servers were very helpful. There were not only Vegetarian alternatives to dishes, but they also added veggies, and it was awesome! Thank you!

Very Authentic and delicious. If you are looking for some Spanish style home cooking this is it. When you walk in your faces with coolers filled with Jarritos and a couple malts they have a small shop with foods ,spices and various other items. To the other side of the restaurant you have the sit down area with a small bar up front. The lady taking order was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The tacos were filled with home cooked chicken and the sauces were freshly made. My only complaint about the food was the veggies and cilantro wasn't as fresh as it could have been knocking this one from a five star to four. Other than that highly recommended.
