Customer service was good. Host and servers were very courteous. Prices were good and the food was served fairly quickly. They serve queso along with mild and spicy salsa with the chips. Very good however the chips were partially burned toward the middle and bottom of the bowl. Didn't bother asking for fresh chips because I didn't want to fill up on them. I ordered the taco salad with fajitas meat. They are not stingy with the fixings. The steak was tender and tasty. The veggies were fresh and nicely diced. I hate chunky veggies on my salad. It was really good. My only concern was the shell. I really enjoy eating the shell with my salad. This shell was overcooked and tasted a bit greasy. I've passed this place several times and it always seems busy. I wanted to try for myself. There was a slight smell when I walked in. Like maybe a plumbing or ventilation issue. Nothing overwhelming but definitely noticeable. The customer service cost, and ambiance will rate them a second visit.

Really great food and a reasonable price. Would definitely go back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A buddy and I went on a nice back road motorcycle ride to Waxahachie from Cleburne. We did have plans to eat anywhere but came across this gem 💎 of a place walking around and taking in the sights. Wow! Were we surprised when they brought out the food. Look at the serving size 😍 We both ordered carne guisada. I ordered nopales on top that added an extra flare to the palate. As you can see, it's enough for two. So if you go with a friend, family, or date, and want the same thing, I would suggest ordering one plate with extra sides. My husband and I have tried this place multiple times HOPING that it would get better each time… but that is not the case. They have the worst service in all of Waxahachie. Tonight we decided it was the last time we will ever set foot in this restaurant. We were waiting for ages for drink refills and chips for our salsa and we discovered that our server was sitting at the bar eating his own meal and kept looking over at us and still refused to come and take care of us. Our top complaint is the staffs utter disregard for their patrons. And the food is sub par. Spend a few dollars more and drive down the road to Campuzanos for delicious food and amazing service. Worst nachos I’ve ever had. The free chips were better. No queso. Just a little shredded cheese and a teaspoon of refried beans on some hard shells for $8. The fajita nachos were almost as bad. Horrible service.

Music can be a little loud, but I like this place a lot. Good food and drinks. Edit: I am revising my review to show that the quality has gone downhill. My waiter gave me the wrong food after a misunderstanding. Finally got my order to go, because by the time he got back to me, my other person had already finished their plate and we were ready to go. After finally receiving my order to go, I see my food is still incorrect. By this time, we're ready to go despite not having the food I ordered. We go to pay and wait for over 5 minutes to even receive our receipt. Really disappointed with today's service. Also, our waiter did a terrible job on checking on us or giving refills. Once again, I never had this bad of an experience here before, and I hope it won't happen again... but next time, I'm finding somewhere else for Mexican food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Fajita Chalupa
The music was way too loud to have a conversation. The waitress didn't know they didn't have ideas on the menu and took our order to come back and leave a menu to pick something else it took over 10 minutes before she came back to get our order. The food is always good. Never been on Sunday before but seems there out of food by 2pm. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and clean. It seems as though there should be an upscale dress code and musicians as lovely as it was. It has a strong Mexican esthetic. The food was tasty and the menus have vibrant, full photos that are a joy to look through. Today there was slow service for everyone because they were under staffed, however the server we had, left his greeting post to lend a hand. Jahir was polite, and I really enjoyed Jahir's service and because of him I will return. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

In town for the weekend so I picked this random restaurant. Got a table quickly on a Wednesday evening. However, it was clear that the table had not been cleaned as the previous diner's receipt and a few other things were still on it. Service was efficient but it was clear that the server could not wait until better career alternatives opened up. I wasn't offered any silverware but instead used the wrapped set that was already on the table presumably left by the previous diners. I ordered fajitas and the were delivered to my table in less than three minutes. They were clearly prepared ahead (probably in a slow cooker) and then put on a sizzling fajita plate for service. The fajitas were tender and decent, but lacked the grill flavor that I expect from fajitas. The salsas and chips were off. I normally devour all of the salsa but one of the two options seemed to be enchilada sauce. Both salsas went largely untouched. And I don't even know what was sprinkled on a few of the chips but not the others. For me, the big turn-off of this restaurant was the cooked-on black crust that was stuck to the fajita skillet visible once I ate all of the steak and onions. I'm not convinced the fajita skillets get washed regularly but instead are sanitized by fire. Overall it was an okay experience and the value for money is quite good. From the time I ordered to the time I left was 18 minutes. If they focused on the details, it could be a much better experience.
