I was travelling to chicago and I get this place to have dinner. It has great interior, service and very welcoming staff. Food is very delicious and there Qeso is another level in taste. We arrived and were seated promptly. I asked for a table not a booth she gave us a half booth. I hate those. The salsa was literally juice. It was watery with the occasion chunk of diced onion. Worst "Mexican" food ever, hey, I'm from TX and this is central IL...what was I thinking??? The beef taco was something akin to dog food, but my dog eats better. The salsa... thin, watery, and flavorless...what the heck? As a single woman, I was seated far in the back, and the waiter immediately copped an attitude. No water offered or brought. I'm a great tipper, but not for attitude and bad service. The best part was the margarita, but it came with salt rather than no salt as I ordered...thank goodness I ordered an extra shot or it would have sucked too. Ugh...not worth the $$$.
