I was never a big fan of pasteles,,,but this place quickly changed that. Great staff,,The owner was very hospitable after playing the guitar and showing a bit of the island's culture thru music he also demonstrated true love towards he's mom's cuisine and proud to share it.

Funny story about this place. I had been recommended to visit this place more than a decade ago. And yet, either I forgot or I wasn't in the area, so it never happened. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed they were serving lunches. So the next day, on my way to work, I decided to grab a meal and take it to work. And now I regret not going there sooner. From a simple lunch, I could tell their food quality is top notch and their employees are attentive and friendly. My new objective is to go and enjoy a full meal. Definitely on my radar now.

Amazing, warm, creative, positive, friendly atmosphere. The owner went out of his way to not only serve us, but also to play music, sing for us, and recite beautiful, heartfelt poetry. It's more than just a dining out experience, it's a special memorable moment I will never forget. Thank you!

Excellent individualized services by owner and employees, ensuring your comfort. Sincerely cares about their guests. I have lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years now and so far have been the best service experience.
I went on a hurry and asked for a shrimp soup (asopao de camarones) for my mother in law that it was in critical condition on Nov. 24, 2019. They did not have it on the menu but they agreed to prepare it for me. While I was waiting the owner and the restaurant manager engaged in a thoughtful conversation and shared work experiences with common ground. They graciously offered a glass of complimentary Delicious sangria while I was waiting. The environment was Very nice, relaxed and family oriented. Here you will find fine food and fine human beings running the place. Wish them the best and hope to get back in my next trip to PR. According to my sister in law and mother in law the asopao de camarones was DELICIOUS. My mother in law passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019. Forever grateful that I was able to comply with that little last moments wish.
OMG! Whoever has had lunch here knows it's like your mom just cooked for you. Excellent service Edwin will always find a way to make you feel like home. Excellent Food!
