Nice quaint & quiet Mexican Food restaurant located inside the historic Rogers hotel located in downtown Waxahachie, Texas. The food and service were great! The atmosphere is good. Their chips and salsa vere good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce, and it was really good. The overall experience was great. Parking was not an issue at all. Go and give these folks a try. It's a nice alternative to the mainstay Tex-Mex. Had the beef enchiladas with red sauce, would have loved the cheese enchiladas better but it's not on the menu. The beef enchiladas a slight miss, on the sazón could use some more. Chips/salsa were great and beans delicious Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Best enchiladas in Waxahachie! Seriously. After living in New Mexico for years I have been craving a red chile sauce enchilada that matches the quality and taste of what I experience in Mew Mexico. I finally found it at El Encanto! The red sauce is home-made. The verde sauce is good as well! Chips and salsa are great. And the owners are awesome! Great addition to downtown Waxahachie and the Rogers Hotel! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chips were phenomenal. Enjoyed the Salas a bean dip. We ordered Queso Blanco it was really good. My hubby and I shared the combo fajitas. I did not like the taste of the beef the chicken was better. Service and wait time we're not great but we chalked that up to it being newly opened and they are working out the kinks. I had 2 FREE small margaritas...strawberry was frozen and ok. Watermelon was on the rocks and I preferred it to the strawberry. For 2 people plus tip we paid $26.Not too bad! If you’re in the mood for real authentic Mexican food, this is the place!! From the chips and salsa, to the entrees, and especially the freshly homemade tortillas!! All is very DELICIOSO!!! The wait time may be a bit long, but definitely worth every second!! The ambiance is super duper cute and rich in color!! I’ll be a regular for sure, gotta get my queso fix! 😋 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had the fajita tacos with green salsa and they give you chips and hot sauce with a small bowl of refried beans with chorizo which is soooo good. Homemade flour tortillas too! Great place. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
