El Cortez has been in CC Hills for many years. Food is excellent! Service has always been spot on. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere, because after all these years I feel they need an upgrade. All in all excellent service and excellent food. In the summer you can drink 🍸 on the outdoor patio. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

So disappointing. I keep giving this place a try because the first time I had it, it was delicious. It's fallen off tremendously. The chimichuga marina had what looked like Kraft cheese in it and didn't have any shrimp or crab in it. Today, my stomach hurts from it. It was bad. The waiter was nice but they placed us right by the kitchen amongst all the available seating. UPDATE: FOOD POISONING! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Had a margarita easy ice. The bartender first took around 15 minutes before asking trying to service us (we were sitting at the bar which only had 4 other people there). The bartender gave me my drink with a lot of ice. I said to him I asked for easy ice. He took my drink, attempted to pour my drink in another glass while spilling some of the drink and giving me back that drink with easy ice. I told him you spilled some of my drink. He said I can put some juice in there. I said no thank you. He made another drink, same as mine, in error. I said to him you could give me some of that since you spilled my drink, he replied, i could. But he didn't. Needless to say, since he was so rude, I didn't leave a tip and rhats something I always do. However, the chips and salsa was delicious 😋. Nice place, large margaritas, FAJITAS TO LIVE FOR, chips and salsa for the win Went back a second time and fell in love with the diablos potatoes, Joe's special, and a dish called Pundia I believe lol One of my favorite spots know Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
