A great place to stop in Salinas. No real seating, no public restroom. But great Mexican burritos or bowls. Reasonable. We got there at 11:30 and already a long line, for good reason.

If you show up and see a line, don't panic it moves really fast, and the service is amazing. Soft tortillas and great flavor

Just out kickin dirt clods with a fellow Knuckleheader, lookin for these and thems when we met a homeless dude that went by the name of Hodaka John. He had a big chrome Hodaka gas tank with him that he converted into a backpack. He tells us he'll tell us the story of everything if we buy him some taquitos from El Charrito!
Well, I've always wanted to know everything there is to know about everything...so off we went.
He's about half way through eating and he blurts out..."Both Bullwinkle and Rocky had the same middle name, it was Jay, in honor of Jay Ward the dude that thunk um up, and you don't need to know anymore than that"
I left Salinas knowing more about Bullwinkle and Rocky and had some Amazing taquitos from El Charrito.
