Very friendly staff and the most authentic Mexican food you will have in this region. I’m originally from middle Florida so this spot always satisfies my cravings that I’m used to. They are also very generous with their tequila ratio in their margaritas🔥. The prices are outstanding as well for the quality. Only constructive criticism I have is the wait times at the table. Sometimes we’ll be ready for the check for several minutes before the waiter/waitress comes over. Other than that, this place is perfect. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food was good, loved looking at what appeared to be hand painted decor, but the waiter was trying hard to get us to leave. Tables are close together, assuming he was trying to turn quick to make more money. IMO, if you want people to come back, don’t try to get them to leave. Love this place. Definitely A cut above any Mexican food in the area. Lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Friendly staff, food was hot, well prepared, and well seasoned. First time here, my partner highly recommended this restaurant. Having lived in both San Antone, and San Diego, I’m a pretty big fan of Mexican food, and have been spoiled in the past with some good places! I can’t say enough good about El Charolais, locally referred to as “El Kroger”. We had Jesus as our server, and he was very kind, and made good recommendations that I will have to try next time. I had the traditional tacos. They were amazing. The aesthetic here is also very nice!! Can’t wait to come back. Make sure you ask for Jesus’ section. Our first time here, highly recommended by my cousin. Food was very good. Mom had grilled shrimp (medium size for all you shrimp lovers) with mushrooms and rice. I had shredded beef tacos, rice and beans. The beef had a flavorful red sauce. I also brought home for hubby, the Chile Colorado. He said it was pretty darn good.
