We grew up eating from this place. They have been in business for more than 50 years. It is a shame that they are not in the main road. People will definitely enjoy an authentic "alcapurria" and "bacalaitos", which to be honest, are hard to find. Most recipes are calling for ingredients that are not the original ones. It was a treat to be able to do this trip with my siblings, and had a good conversation with one of the original owners' son.

If you are looking for an authentic Puerto Rican fried food like alcapurrias and bacalaitos you must go to this place. Ask for the authentic ones, NO yuca. Sometimes the are out of the guineo and yautia for the alcapurrias, due to lack of good raw material. However, when they have them...you must request freshly fried. This place have more than 40yrs in that specific country family. Rustic place and good fried alcapurrias and bacalaitos. The people on the frying spot are kind, friendly and understanding of our taste. They have a small parking spot (20 cars). Enjoy!
