About
Planning your trip, pay attention to Stjordal Public Library and remember to choose where to eat: this restaurant is right aside the mentioned place of interest. Carpe diem – Scandinavian and Norwegian cuisines wait for you. Most guests highlight that you can try nicely cooked pizza, bacon and taro here. The high ratings of Egon wouldn't be possible without the attentive staff. Good service is something that people note in their reviews. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are low. Clients who come to this place state that the atmosphere is cool here. But people rate this spot below average on Google.

Very good food🥳 Asian dishes here was better than in actual Asian restaurants you can find in Norway. Aperol Spritz was too strong, not sweet, so I would rate 7 out of 10.
A bit pricey compared to neighboring places. Had to wait a long time for our food, and it arrived separately.

Food was pretty good but nothing more. We took two different burgers. Staff was friendly and opening hours were good for being a small town. Cozy atmosphere. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Amazing service and one of the best outdoor seating areas in Stjørdal. Why only 3*? Because they allow for smoking, which means unless you want to sit in a cloud of cigarette smoke on a sunny day, you have to sit inside to enjoy your meal or drink, which makes this a place to avoid for non-smokers on nice days.

I am afraid I have to say I have a hard time recommending egon compared to so many other places around. What I base this off is value. Quality, quantity vs price. It just doesn't match other restaurants, it's too expensive compared to what you get. Their food is okay+, but that's what they have going for them. I feel like norwegians just keep going there because it's very family friendly and has alot of food that kids can like. Oh and they have pizza buffé.
Great food, great service and a good place to sit and have a good meal. All in all, very satisfied.
God food relatively cheep for Norwegian conditions You can test good lunch under 300 kr .Here are happy hours for pizza is called Pizza buffet. You pay 110 kr and can eat quite good Norwegian not Italian style pizza. You have also salat and dressing and pur norwegian watet for free.Nice furniture in old Norwegian style
Decent food, friendly staff, relaxed environment. You have to go to the bar to order your food as orders are not taken at tables for some reason. Reasonable prices for Norway.

Second time dining here in two years and they don't disappoint. Nice venture with a unique atmosphere. I arrived at 1850 and the restaurant was crowded; however, I was able to find a table within minutes. Despite the size of the crowd, my meal was served within 15 minutes of placing my order. The Black & White with a baked potato was fantastic. Perfect portion size that leaves you feeling nice and full feeling with out being overstuffed.
