I have been to this place several times, and have found each time for the service to be incredible, the food delicious, and the mustards to be excellent. The schnitzel is always super tasty and comforting, paired with a diverse panel of mustards that are sure to knock your socks off. I love coming here, for you always get enough food for plenty of leftovers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A must go 10000 stars. 10/27/23 eat there again tonight! I was lucky enough to have the Pretzel Reuben and Sauerkraut and mtly wife had the Jagersnitze and Spatzel. Fantastic doesn't sum it up. The server was Jenn, who was fantastic as well. The Pretzel Reuben is one of the 3 best sandwiches in all of Missoula. Prices are super reasonable as well. Jurgen, amazing place! This is a great little spot! Some of the best, most authentic German food I've had in years across multiple states. The Hefeweizen is done in traditional fashion and has a rich, smooth, clove-forward taste to it, and the food is well seasoned with options for sweet-hot and stone-ground mustards. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely try to stop by the next time I'm in Missoula! Authentic German food, with minimal flavor. The German beers were on point and excellent, but the macaroni and cheese were way too greasy and full of pepper that wasn't great. Other dishes were exactly as expected. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Beer Flight
Every single thing was amazing, from the beer to the pretzels to the schnitzels and imported German mustards. Server was also amazing. Thunderstorm in the hills behind us was also fun to watch. 2023 update: Still never had a bad meal here. The Obatzda takes me right back to Munich. I tend to go for the Frikadelle Sandwich which is a flavor bomb. Dump Truck Summer Bock is the perfect refresher while sitting on the patio enjoying a pretzel or two. Ohhhhh man, how have I not been here when it's been here for over 30 years????? It was sooooo good. Everything had amazing flavors. Dragon soup was a great stew with a different spin on it, being made with a beer that I love called Dragons Breath. The pretzel appetizers was sooo soft and chewy inside with a salty crust. It's served with a interesting cheese. Man I could go on and in about how good this place was. I leave off just saying I highly recommend the pan seared pork with mushroom gravy, the curry worst, and chicken schnitzel sandwich.🤤🤤🤤 I didn't catch our waitresses name (from Billings)but she was above and beyond good and attentive even though I could see she had a ton of tables.

The spot for German food in zoo town. I love there twist on Mac and cheese, the cucumber salad is fantastic. There beer is great and they are the only place I know of that you can recycle brown beer bottles and there branded cardboard. They even give you cash for em..
Everything about this place was a 5 star experience (can I give higher than 5?). This place is legit. The brewery is huge and you can see it through a window upstairs. Lots of options for beer on tap. Kelly was the most amazing waitress. She made us feel VIP. The food was straight out of Germany (even way better than the food we’ve had there; more fresh and hot). The bread that I got the brat sandwiching had just come out of the oven. We have yet to have seen Leberkase on the menu in the German restaurants in the US but they had it and boy did they know how to do it right. AMAZING. So wish we lived driving distance to this place; we would come all the time.
