Came here for breakfast on our way out of town from a week of vacation at Pickwick. We didn’t do any boating, just breakfast. We ate inside and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We were a large party and it was a busy Sunday for them but I never got my order so I was disappointed about that. Nobody came by the table to make sure everything was ok so I didn’t say anything. It’s a cute place and very clean. The staff smiled and seemed friendly.
Our family spent a week here.. we rented the 2 cabins and 2 transient spots for our boats. We had so much fun. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cabins were cute and clean. We will definitely be back if we can. Thank you Eastport Marina for allowing us to have our vacation here.
The staff is incredible, but the owner.......watch out!
We just needed a late tie-up and an early departure.....on a face dock with no power.
This wasn't Grand Harbor Marina and Resort, as you can see by the pictures.
We called ahead, and they said they had a place for us but would have to check with the owner on the price. We said ok, and we drove one of the cars down river for almost an hour to drop it off since we were ferrying them from one marina to the next.
The owner hadn't gotten back with staff on a price, so they called her. The owner wanted $8.00 a foot for approximately 12 hours on her no electricity face dock. My boat is 27 feet long. Do the math. It's $1.50 a foot at Grand Harbor with a real slip and electricity at a resort. I couldn't believe the owner understood we would be there only one night, so the staff called her back.....Oh she meant it!!
Obviously we didn't stay there.
Not with that craziness...Be advised who you are dealing with.
I *almost* don't want to tell you how awesome EastPort is... Been coming here annually for the past 5 years and will keep coming back! Local Treasure!
Staff are great. Food is good. Clean atmosphere and outdoor eating areas for guests. New owners have done a really good job updating the Marina.
Was told 1hr wait on a burger🤷🏻♂️. They had maybe 15-20 guest 🤣. So we Ordered a club sandwich was charged 11.95 for a club, got it , 1 piece of meat , lettuce , Tom & Mayo on bread, that was it. Went to ask about it & they had no idea what even came on a club. I said, a club would be what we got plus cheese & bacon. They quickly said “we’re out of bacon” . I said & cheese. They said don’t know about that. I asked for a refund of the $5 x 2 up charge for the 2 clubs & they said we don’t know how to refund & the owner / manger’s on bed rest. 1 and done. Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Other guest dissatisfied also. Stay clear unless you want a hot dog .
The new marina got a fantastic upgrade! It has a great new deck with outdoor games and covered picnic tables. Inside it has a much needed walk in beer cooler, large variety of snacks and ice cream. There are also tshirts, hats, sweatshirts, very cute beach bags, sunglasses and sunscreen. Breakfast and lunch served everyday and beer on tap.
Wonderful area. Loading ramps are fairly easy to access. Great little lake store. Some items are a little pricey, but you do pay for convenience. With that being said, I love the place. Nice area wonderful people. I would recommend it to any lake goer in the area.
Our boat was in the shop so we rented a pontoon for Labor Day. When we arrived we were shown to a rather shabby boat with a good deal of mold. The dock girl told us that the boat had been “ finicky” lately and had been giving people some problems. Our experience was awful!! It would not go near full throttle and constantly had to be down shifted.It took a very long time to get anywhere!! When we returned to the marina we informed the male employee who said “Well it might act fine next trip. It’s like that” The female employee said “ I told them about that boat before they went on it’ We were shocked that no one understood our frustration after taking our family, with two babies out in this boat that acted like it was going to break down, constantly. They were not willing to take responsibility for anything!!!! We were unable to contact the Marina by phone because Verizon had no service on the Lake. They paid for our gas which was just under 4 gallons, around $13.00 worth. We couldn’t exceed 2000 RPM in the boat without the motor malfunctioning. This boat should have been out of service until repaired.
Best Marina on pickwick! Boat rental is cheap compared to others on the lake, food at the restaurant is fantastic, the owners & employees are great! 5 stars
