Passed this place 100 times and finally had time to stop in for breakfast.
I planned on getting a breakfast bagel or burrito at first, but when I saw they had a special breakfast bowl on offer I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. I asked for it to go, which was probably a bit of a pain container wise, but the workers running the show had no problem and made it happen for me.
I went on a short walk around the town while they made it, probably only 10-15 minutes when they also had about 10 other customers so excellent timing even when it's pretty busy inside. I'd probably order ahead next time to make it a bit easier on them as it's quite small inside and the kitchen also looks to be very small.
The staff was awesome and very accommodating, the person at the counter made my green tea SUPER hot which I personally love and made sure to double cup it so I wouldn't have an issues holding it. A nice attention to detail that goes a long way with people I think.
Can't wait to go back because my bowl was shockingly good, I expected your average run of the mill greasy breakfast meat with decently done eggs and some mushy veggies and was 100% wrong. They used awesome fresh crispy peppers, spinach (could have been kale), onions, potatoes which were a mix of sweet and gold and sausage. I got my eggs sunny side up and they were flawless, whoever works the grill nailed it.

Great, hip, alt rock coffee shop vibes.
Art is all cool. Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Even going over the top to find an artist of one of the pieces of art we liked.
Food was perfectly prepared and exceptionally tasty and affordable. Not local, but we will be back!

If you have the chance, this lovely place is definitely worth checking out. It's a small nook, supporting local businesses. I needed a special order and they had no problem accommodating, they actually had some great ideas for me. The two women working were beyond wonderful. Add the food was a huge hit. I recommend the crepes and home fries. The coffee is also locally sourced Carpe Diem, can't go wrong with them. Eat in or take out. Worth every bite/sip.

I ordered a large black coffee and one of their breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was so smooth and amazing. The coffee doesnt need anything added to it. Its perfect the way it is. The breakfast sandwich was also fantastic. I love the early bird :D

Met a friend for brunch, sat by the front window and enjoyed the eclectic art on the walls. The Early Bird is run by lovely women making delicious meals with smiles and kindness. Bravo!

Best place for breakfast or lunch! It’s a must visit every time I come from North Carolina to see my friends and family. Everyone inside is friendly and you might even strike up a conversation with a random stranger and find yourself eating breakfast with them! The Early Bird is quick and very affordable. Next time you’re looking for a day off cooking or just wanting to try a new place the Early Bird is the place to go. It’s really not just some place to get breakfast it’s a whole community.

After driving by this place everyday for years, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised.
As a vegetarian, there aren’t too many places in the area that offer veggie sausage for breakfast, so happy to add another to the roster. The sesame bagel was very good, but I loved the classic Early Bird with bountiful amounts of spinach and fresh onion.
Cold brew was tasty too. Love the vibe of the shop and selection of fun stickers and jewelry

This was my second visit to Early Bird and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh and I mean really fresh. My omelette was perfectly cooked and tasty. Chia was good as well and Cara and family are guaranteed to give service with a smile.
