One of the hidden gems in Bukit Mertajam area. I had my coffee here after lunch and it was very quiet, pleasant and peaceful time I had. The location even though is in front of a main road of the residential area, it was still quiet. It is a good place to have a solitary or me-time and also good for a two-person discussion. The staffs there were also providing good service during my visit. They gave me a cup of plain water right before I finished my cup of coffee which I find it very kind and genuinely thoughtful. Nice ambient cafe hidden in the resident house. You might miss it if you go without Waze/maps as Cafe has no sign board. I have ordered the recommended Matcha Dorayaki feel the cream is too less but Matcha latte is great. Kahluamisu (alcohol tiramisu) is recommended by me It is very smooth and creamy. Besides Coffee Romano which is half coffee + lemonade is special. Parking is very limited 4-5 cars in front. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Matcha Doraeyaki
Share previous photos : EarlFee 爾啡 is definitely one of the best kept secrets around. The place does not carry any signage and it is quite out of the way... seemingly only for those who are in the know. The atmosphere is as casual and as homey as it gets- just like having a cup of Joe in your own house. The menu is pretty small, apart from the beverage list (which consists of Coffee and Matcha)... there's a dedicated corner for Cakes and Dorayaki (Japanese-styled Pancake with sweet filling). A decent place to chill out and relax over Coffee and desserts. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40
Love the yam crepe there. And their dorayaki w butter was very delicious too. I ordered the coffee+matcha. Very special and so photogenic haha. Very nice environment to have a chitchat with friends. Went on a Saturday noon about 3pm. Overall items there are quite pricey too. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40

I really like this home style based cafe. A quiet and calming sanctuary ambience compared to those regular noise-infused cafes. I like it that it gives me the mind space to enjoy my coffee and food. Not really ideal for large crowd as aforementioned, this is a home style cafe. But it’s a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of your regular work routine. To step into here, gives u the opportunity to pause and have a reset time for yourself. I will revisit, especially on days I need a break to clear my mind from all the work schedules :) Keep it up Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chill afternoon place to sip on some coffee while having some cakes and pastry. The dorayaki is good and price wise is average with ample place siting place. Recommended if finding for a small neighbourhood cafe to chill on a lazy afternoon Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40
Reasonable cafe within a housing area. A quiet place to have coffee. Felt quite warm maybe due to lack of aircond in the inner part and high ceiling. Overall it was a good experience for afternoon tea
A home style cafe. Coffee presentation is decent. Owner pay much attention to the decorations and interior setup. Simple and straightforward. Just 1 drawback is that limited seatings and it’s best to booked beforehand (probably due to MCO). The price is somewhere pricey. Service is good.
Tucked in a neighbourhood, this home based cafe only serves drinks, desserts and some sandwiches but no mains. The matcha & hojicha latte were good however the cake and the dorayaki was so-so only Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40
It will be one-time-visit kind of cafe for me and my friends. Internal and parking space is limited. Environment is cosy but not suitable for talking out 'loud', just whispering. Beverages are good (ordered ice hojicha and matcha), but dessert wise still require lot of improvement. Dorayaki is too DRY, even harder after putting some time. Rum and raisins crepe selling at this price, please use Whipping Cream instead of Topping Cream.
