Absolutely terrible! Possibly the worst service and food in Maine. My coffee came with a spoon in it, and the spoon had someone's left over food stuck on it. The corned beef hash was way overcooked, super crispy, and dry. They were out of home fries, so I opted for tatertots. They came out burnt to a crisp, greasy, and cold to boot. It's obvious these are deep-fried once kept in a bin and then fried again (which causes them to become saturated with grease), then turn hard and overcooked. The steak omelet had raw vegetables inside of it and had 0 seasoning. No coffee refill was offered, and the waitress couldn't answer basic questions about the menu because she stated that she "was vegetarian." I tried explaining the issues to the server, but she decided to walk away instead of being willing to listen. I left, still hungry. Super disappointing! The service was good but the food was bad. Our son had waffles and he liked them but my hamburger was awful. Gristle and it tasted like fish. My husband sent back his home because it was so greasy. Meh. We'd heard legendary things about Dysart's and stopped in for weekday lunch. Have to say we weren't all that impressed. Our server got our drink orders wrong (regular Coke instead of diet) and our food orders wrong (beans and red franks instead of beans and ham). Our server just didn't really seem into it, honestly. I wonder if all the hoopla about Dysart's is really about the Hermon location. Don't know that I'd return to the Broadway location. I called ahead for a pie. They said they would have it ready for me. The clerk was very nice. Their blueberry pie is a favorite of my mom's! I brought it to Mom for a surprise. Food was wonderful, fresh and delicious and hot. Waitresses were excellent. I was there as often as I was in Maine! Parking was plentiful and safe. Fuel was easily accessible and not overpriced.
