I walked in the store in the morning asked for a dulce de leche dessert and a chocolate desert. There were signs for both of them and deserts right under the sign. The woman apparently couldn’t understand me and kept picking up anothwr two desserts, not the ones I pointed to. When I pointed to the chocolate desert, she picked up another one and said this one and I said “no, chocolate”. And she pointed to the other dessert as if it was chocolate and kept nodding her head in disapproval for the original dessert I kept pointing to, as if it wasn’t chocolate though it was labeled so. When I pointed to the dulce de leche dessert, she did the same thing and chose a dessert other than the one I asked for. She ended up giving me a Cinnabon and a raisin bread after I asked for DULCE DE LECHE and CHOCOLATE 100 times. I even asked in my (limited) Spanish so it can’t even be a language barrier to blame. When I kept pointing to the chocolate bread and asking for chocolate, she kept lifting the raisin bread and convinced me that the raisin bread was chocolate 🤣🤣🤣I will NEVER buy any dessert from here again. Mediocre dessert and AWFUL service

It's a little bakery jem in Dunellen, I am always drawn by their freshly baked items. Very affordable and tasty.

Do not go here. Terrible service. The will over charge you out of spite if you speak English and not Spanish. They are rude, I got 5 beef Pattie’s and a drink and she charged me $21.00. Def over charged me. Made me feel uncomfortable bc I asked her a question in English. Made me feel like I was irritating her. I would give a zero if I could. I asked why so expensive and she tried to tell me it was $9 for the drink I got which was a small.

I saw some guy post that he liked the ham and cheese empanadas. I went because of that and they were really good. It's a good place to grab breakfast to go, before a work day. Wake up early and stop in. They have a nice assortment of drinks, like avena fresca, an oatmeal which is milky sweet and tastes of cinnamon, but they also have a water-based Quaker style, and other things.

I went in for some coffee I was asking one of the staff members about what they had there were completely non-professional horrible attitude definitely never going back

Great customer service and amazing empanadas! Highly recommend the guava and cheese, it is perfect for dessert. On the Fourth of July, they were very accommodating and able to give us 10 empanadas that we ordered two hours before they closed. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy again.

The bread is delicious. Only reason they get four stars is because they always run out of ham and cheese empanadas. They are so good that if you get there by 9 am you won’t find any!. Please, please make more. I really don’t understand why they don’t make more 😒

My family has been buying bread her for a minute now. More of a Spanish bakery with typical Spanish pastries for sale. Either way the pastries are delicious
