Was quite excited to try the tacos since the menu update . But let me tell you the tacos were made with pizza dough and it was dry I couldn't even finish is because it was dry...I couldn't send it back because we took takeaway ...very disappointed for my first time since the reopen . Vibe check passed with flying colours. We had a lovely Sunday roast. Food was good-sized portion and very satisfying. Tasted better than Mom's cooking... Ssssh, don't tell her I said that. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Pricing was affordable. Live music rounded off the experience. Just a lekker afternoon! Went for Sunday lunch while they had live music. Unfortunately they were either understaffed or not interested. Asked at the bar if we could sit at a table. Ended up sitting for 10 minutes, and eventually got up and left as no one would help. The rest of the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maybe Sundays are for locals only haha. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

If you’re in Rooi Els and looking for a relaxed, pub vibe with friendly faces - here’s your spot. The owner is very accommodating (under new ownership as of December) and took the time out to chat to us. Food is definitely good and we personally had beef burgers, calamari and the fish and chips (personal favourite) beer is cold and definitely worth a visit again! Ps: a lovely little singer playing last night to set the atmosphere.

Nice friendly customers, but service is shocking as I had to get my own astray as the waiter remove all astray and were to be found , ordered stake egg and chips once I received it, it was shocking, chips under done, stake was Raw and wanted medium rare stake, onion rings were drenched in oil, I do not recommend this place, this includes my 3 drinks Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person R 250–300 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Went here on a quiet Monday lunchtime. They screwed up my sandwich order.Ordered toasted bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Pointed it out twice to the waiter .Got a toasted ham cheese and tomato and never received the tea I ordered. Despite this the food was good. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
